I'm going to try to get him to stop but I have never used these products before. One website suggests first using Lysol to clean the remnants of the spray then use Feliway Feline Behavior Modification Spray to keep the cat from spraying there again and also a Comfort Zone Diffuser. Has anyone had any luck with these or can you suggest something else. He just got fixed last week and I know it may take awhile before he finally breaks the habit but I would hate for him to just keep doing it if I don't do anything about it.

Most hilarious thing ever. Especially when you get them to walk/run. You'll see.

Hi there, I have a female spayed cat who is now 1 year old. She has always been an odd cat because she can be alternately aggressive and loving - she will come to me for a love in the morning, but throughout the rest of the day she can be prone to tantrums and violence, hissing at my friends and family or even scratching me and my partner. I recently got a 6 week old kitten ( a boy) and I am having problems introducing them. He has been ill which has made it hard as well. On the first day she hissed and spat but didn't do much else, and he hissed back. Over the next 2 days they sniffed each other and she even licked him and ate near him. Now, day 4, she attacks him on sight and has even flipped him onto his back. I can't tell whether or not she is playing - he isn't meowing in complaint, but he has been poorly and he might just be too scared. She isn't hissing either but her behaviour doens't look safe, so I always split them up. What do I do to make this work? Help!

My cat shows no interest in eating, and when he gets up to the water bowl, he stares at it like he doesnt know what to do anymore. He hasnet eatin in 2 days, and has not drank any water while Ive watched him. He aparently has been drinking some water because I dont think a cat can vomit for 2 days and keep vomiting some sort of watery substance. He was perfectly fine and his usual playful self just 2 days ago, so we arent sure what has gotten to him. He is VERY lathargic, and seems to have trouble locating people when they are right in front of him. He is 14 and a half years old, so hes an old man in cat years. He doesnt have any problem with me picking me up and holding him (and is really the only time he makes an attempt at purring) so I wouldnt think there is anything obstructing his stomach or intestines. Im thinking that he has some sort of cat flu or something. Can anyone conferm? I appreciate any help you may be able to give. Thanks. BTW the vets are closed on weekends here!

I just (yesterday) adopted a loving 10 yr old moggy. Upon getting her home she investigated the house, then hid under the bed for a few hours (a safe spot?). She then came out and has been overly affectionate since, to the point where she didn't sleep all night and kept me up by jumping on and off the bed, walking up to my head and constant rubbing and headbutting.
It's only been one night I know I just wanted to know if this is normal in people's experience and will she calm down, start to sleep at night etc.?

He is about 7-8 years old. He is skin and bones. My other 5 cats are fat and happy. Is this typical of Siamese cats? People are starting to make comments and I feel guilty. I keep feeding him on the counter so he is not interrupted by other cats, but he eats so little.

He is black with white paws, according the a book on cats, he has a tuxedo for markings...that means he has black all over his body with a white spot where a shirt would be on a tuxedo. Hes really crazy! He also has a white bowtie on his face =]]

Mine like the clear plastic containers with the snap on lids that toys come in from the 'gumball' machines. I put a couple of pennies in them then seal the lid. They love to bat them around.

They also LOVE the little fluffy crafts balls that you can get at Wal-Mart in the craft dept. (Mine like the shiny ones). They usually come a bunch in a bag (which is good because they lose them all the time!)

And a favorite of one of my cats is a crushed up cigarette pack or box (with the celephane left on). That is her "throw and fetch" toy.

Is there a way to stop that behavior? (on my furniture atleast)

besides just buying a cat scratcher and assuming that she will use it?
