I think your best bet is to just observe him for a little while and see what suits him. My cats name is Nicodemus (the leader of the rats in Mrs. Fribsy and the Rats of Nimh (book) or the Secrets of Nimh (movie)). Mainly because he just emitted this all powerful regalness even if he was just sitting perfectly still. And since my husband and I had just watched the movie, it was said that he 'looked just like Nicodemus' and he's been Nicodemus ever sense. Well, Nico for short.
Then when we got a new kitten, we just brought her home and let her loose to see what she would do. Well, she tore tushie right after Nico and after watching them run around the house for an hour, we shouted 'Chase' and she came running. So now it's Nico and Chase. My spoiled little angels.
So after all this blabbering, my point is, just watch him and see what you come up with and how he responds. It's been my experience that they will respond to a name they like, so go with it.
But if all else fails, when you said it looks like he's wearing a tux, I thought of Frank Sinatra for whatever reason, maybe you can use that somehow...lol :-)

That sounds just like my cat when he was a kitten, he was wild, and he is a black and white tuxedo. His name is Rodeo, because he's crazy. Do something crazy like Rodeo.....

Tux, Fifty (because in the 50's they had black and white), or you could name him the spanish color names: *****, Blanco. I personally like Blanco better. Also, James Bond or "JB" for James Bond. I like that one! Well, hope I helped.

I've always liked Joseph or Sir Joseph. Casper would be really cute. Or Socks or something. I think Tux is really good though!
