i have 4 cats and a puppy,2 of my cats are ok with the pup but the other 2 keep hissing at her, i have had the pup for 5 days,will the 2 cats be ok with her after a while?

if they are older they may never be ok with her. they will either learn to tolerate her or avoid her depending on how much she wants to interact with the cats.

The cats will eventually learn to get along with the puppy. Every cat is different - some will get used to the situation immediately, others will take a longer time.
Give it time and do not get involved or scold the cats with the puppy, the cats are only trying to enforce rules on the puppy, since they were there first.
Make sure to give the cats more attention than the puppy as well! :)

Yes, they will get along eventually.
They might not like each other, but the cats will understand in time, that the pup is not leaving and he is a new addition to the family.

They need time. I have 6 cats and a 5 month old puppy...things are starting to fall into place now, had him since 6 weeks. Good luck!

Yes, it's only been 5 days. They need time to sort out their differences. They will eventually get used to the puppy and accept he or she as part of the family. They may not be best friends but they will tolerate each other and stop fighting.

Yes, they'll eventually will get used to the puppy. Wait till the puppy gets bigger they're not going to be hissing at anyone.

they should be able to get use to your puppy... sometimes it takes a while to get use to change... it took my cat a couple of weeks to finally warm up to my dog... just give it a little bit and see what happens... if after a while they still arnt warming up to it maybe the pup isnt such a good idea!Good luck!
