Yes, of course they can get colds, but for what are you saying about the echo in her chest, is better if you take her to the vet, no matter how good we can answer your question, animals
are different from humans, their symptoms can be the same as ours, but that, doesn't mean that they have the same sickness or illness, only a vet can 100% sure diagnostic what your baby cat is having.
Good look and get well for your cat.

Yes, they do get colds, and I'm sorry to hear about what your cat has been doing. That really stinks that the vet is far away. Usually when my cat does that echoing thing, he doesn't have that yellow snot stuff, but he usually gets over it. If this has been going on for a while, I would contact the vet over the phone. Ask them about it, but if this continues, please bring your cat to the vet. Trust me, the ride will be worth it if your cat needs help.

Yes cats can catch colds just like humans. Gaging, can be caused by many things....simply eating the wrong foods...grass from outside...plants inside or outside or eating small animals they catch in the wild.
Even though your vet is a distance, I would strongly recommend you take her in to see the vet first thing tomorrow morning. It could be very serious and only prescription antiobiotics or probiotics could be needed.
Hope your cat is feeling better soon....place her on a heating pad turned on low and let her snuggle up. Good luck.

I am a new kitten owner but have already found out the hard way that OH YES the get colds my kitty started sneezing and has "Black" stuff dried up in his nose he best advice i have gotten is to keep him warm and comfortable make sure he is eating cause if the goo is blocking his nose he might not be able to smell his food and then he wont eat it so if you notice he is not eating try using a warm wet cotton ball to clean out under his nose or you can even use Saline drop for your nose like a plain saline nasal spray with nothing else in it but saline and drop one drop in each of his little nostrils to help clear it out and take him to the vet in the morning or atleats call them and ask what they think you should do.. Hope that helps good luck and i hope your furry baby feels better

Yes cats do get colds and if she has yellow snot and if her eyes are starting to look milky, yes you need to take her to the vet because of common respiratory problems. I have 2 cats.

I had a cat once that had a respiratory infection. I had to give him antibiotics in the form of drops and drops for his nose. I knew he was sick because of the discharge from his nose and the way he curled up in one spot and stayed there all day, very lethargic.

Yes cats can get colds.. and yours sounds like it's pretty bad. Keep her warm, always have extra water around... I suggest keeping her indoors for the next couple days. If she ges worse, you may have to take her in. But for now, look around on the internet for some home remedies

Cats can pick up colds and viruses. They can even "share" some germs with people.
