We want her to be named after a cartoon character or even a witch.
In the past we had Sylvester...yes he looked just like Tweety's nemesis. We had Sebastian after Sebastian from the Little Mermaid and we currently have Sabrina after the Teenaged Witch (which also happened to become a cartoon as well).

Just thought of Shera from He-man...that's on the list. We want at least 3 potential names that me and my best friend agree on and then we are going to let my 8 year old daughter choose from the list.

Alright, let's start with the fact that I've had him for 9 yrs. Now I love him, but for all those years he would bite, scratch, meow, or just attack my legs. I don't know why he does this, but my parents have kept him still. I've always wanted a dog and we're supposed to get one when he's gone, but I'm about to kill him if he doesn't stop hurting me. My mother loves the cat as well, but I'd say that's because she feeds him and feels a connection. She used to have dogs, but refuses to have one at all. I just can't stand having this cat around anymore, he's killing me. I honestly don't know if I should confront them on this or just simply let my thoughts go and forget telling them.

She came home this morning with motor oil on her and one small cut on her back leg. My daughter is very concerned about her. If she has internal bleeding, how long until she dies? She ate today without a problem. Any input would be helpful and it will put a family at ease.

We just got a kitten today. My mother picked up the cat, and she jumped out of her arms. Afterwards, it seemed like she was slightly limping. She is sleeping now and seemed fine, but is the fact that she seemed to be walking different before something to worry about? Can I check for a sprain if it is possible?

Thanks for any help.

After all the suggestions I got, the vet still couldn't find anything wrong with Alix. Over the weekend I ended up taking her to the emergency room. The kept her and performed a minor procedure to fix her prolapsed rectum. She is still in the hosptial. There are no parasites present and she is active and back to her old playful self. She is even eating and drinking again. The problem is she still has explosive green diarrhea. The vet says she can't figure out what is causing the diarrhea. They have her on two antibiotics, but they don't know what they are fighting.

Are there any vets or vet techs that might be able to give me some ideas about what might be the cause of diarrhea when there aren't any parasites present?

This may sound pretty dumb and I feel almost like an idiot for asking, but do male and female cats have nipples? I ask because the previous owners of my kittens never told me their genders, only that there were 2 males and 2 females. It looks to me that 3 kittens have them instead of just two.

I have two cats, one is a year and a half and the other is 9 months old. Both our breeder and vet recommend using Science Diet. They have both been on it since they started eating food. My husband wonders if Eukanuba would be a better choice. Any thoughts on the matter would be great. Thanks!!

My cat has an affinity for one of my house plants. Today I came home and she's chewed an entire branch off of this thing. When she gets up to chew on it, I'll spray her with water, but she continues to assault it. Is there anything natural and non-toxic that I can do to the plant that will keep her from destroying it?

I had a friend lined up to take care of my kitten while I'm out of town and she called me today to back out and said her reason is that her cat will "force" my kitten into heat. Can this happen or is she just using it as an excuse?

I got this kitten from this lady that lives across from me. She says to give it a bath once a week to help keep the fleas away. well i gave it a bath ( he didnt like it) and dried it off as much as he would let me and let him run free. I picked him up to put him where his food was and i seen that he had foam comming from his mouth. I have never seen it before.

And does it fit your cat?

My cat's name is Tobi. I think he looks like a Tobi. My sister-in-law named him.

just touching them in this area makes them want to start chewing on themselves. Even want to bite us. It's like this part along the spin is very senitive. One was doing it before the other, longer time frame.
