We want her to be named after a cartoon character or even a witch.
In the past we had Sylvester...yes he looked just like Tweety's nemesis. We had Sebastian after Sebastian from the Little Mermaid and we currently have Sabrina after the Teenaged Witch (which also happened to become a cartoon as well).
Just thought of Shera from He-man...that's on the list. We want at least 3 potential names that me and my best friend agree on and then we are going to let my 8 year old daughter choose from the list.

Samantha is a cousin, so that name although perfert, won't work for us.
I so far love Sakura, Storm, Saphira, Selma...please keep them coming.
We'll get her this afternoon, but we will wait until we have picked the perfect name for her before we name her.

Im not sure what your cat looks like but Snowball was Lisa's first cat on the Simpsons followed by Snowball II.
Scratchy is the cartoon cat on Itchy and Scratchy the cartoon show within the Simpsons.

1. Sleeping Beauty from Sleeping Beauty
2. Samantha from Bewitched
3. Snoopy - boys name though
4. Shaggy - again a boys name
5. Scooby Doo - again probably a boys name
6. Selma (or is it Zelma) - I think that there is 2 characters, one from the Flinstones and one from the Simpons

SInce you already have a Sabrina, I vote for Salem or Sybil. Or how about the name, Spirit?
I cannot think of any cartoon character right now for cats.

Sabrina the teen-age witch was a cartoon (a spin off from "Archie") long before it was a live-action TV sitcom.
