no, when they are spayed they do a complete historectomy. She shouldn't have any of the hormones, but she could be having a false pregnancy. I've heard of males not getting neutered properly and being able to reproduce, but for females it's impossible.

I would have her checked for a tumor or something along those lines.

She may have a bad case of worms or she can be pregnant if the first surgery was not done properly. It can happen. Did you notice she was in heat? It can also be a tumor, fluid, worms, etc. Take her to the vet to get it checked out.

By the way pregnant cats CAN get spayed. It all depends on the doctor. Some won't spay if they are almost to full term or the terminate the pregnancy even if she is due in about a week.

When a cat is spayed, there is no way to be pregnant. But still could have what is called false pregnancies. All the same symptoms

Actually, I had friend when I was a kid and her spayed cat ended up pregnant. Evidently, something was missed in the hysterectomy because the cat delivered kittens.

I'm assuming you think your cat is pregnant because her belly is swollen. There are other medical issues that could cause this. My first cat had a swollen belly and we found out she had perotonitis, a secondary effect of Feline Leukemia. Definitely take your cat to the vet soon so they can figure out what's going on with your cat.

Good luck!

Without a male cat being involved? No.

If the spaying was done correctly, no she can't even if a male is present.

You could be seeing signs of false pregnancy. No kittens, but the cat will try mothering small stuffed toys if you let her.

Don't worry, it's not pregnancy. However it is most likely a false pregnancy. When females are spayed, they cannot reproduce at all, but a male can. That's why my male cat was checked for any signs of pregnancy after he was.

They probably are false, because the point of being spayed is to make that impossible. Your vet may have made a mistake though.

It should not be at all possible. What signs are you seeing? It might be advisable to call your vet and describe the symptoms you are seeing to see what they say.

nope. symptoms? they could just be normal, or if you're really worried, leave her a lone for a little bit, then if they continue take her to the vet
