It doesn't work. The only safe and effective flea medicines are Frontline and Advantage.

Don't use any flea shampoo, dig, powder, spray, "bio-spot" that you can buy in a pet store or a grocery store on a cat. They either don't kill fleas or will harm the cat, or both. No flea collars, either,

If anything, it might be able to soothe the bites, but I don't believe it will do anything else.

If your cat has fleas, the only thing to do is get a treatment from the vet. Anything else may not work, and may even be harmful.

I'd save the vinegar for recipes.

I've heard of the apple cider thing--putting 1/4 teaspoon in the water bowl. It's supposed to make the skin more acidic I think, so the fleas don't like what they taste, but I've never tried it.

Okay, here's a natural, homeopathic remedy for removing fleas from you cat. The procedure is very simple:

1.) consume a bean burrito or two.
2.) wait about 30 minutes.
3.) hold cat down and commence to farting over it.

The hot methane gas should expel any flea from your cat. Just make sure you're not around any open flames when you do this.

I don't kno about vinegar, I think it will work, but if it doesn't, you can use Head & Shoulders shampoo. I've always used that & it definately works!
