I'd avoid very much dairy because cats are lactose intolerant and will get intestinal problems (diarrhea). Yogurt might work. If you're making yourself a sandwich, you can give kitty a little (very little) piece of meat. Some cats like a little bit of egg. Kitty might enjoy a little snack every once in a while but I'd limit what she gets because human food does not have complete nutrition for cats and if you get her used to human food she might not eat cat food. I have one cat that likes to lick apples and pears. I think she'd eat anything. Cats shouldn't have onions or chocolate, though. My husband let his cat lick his chili bowl -- I'd never seen a cat make an "ick" face before, but it was really funny. Didn't hurt him.

cooked salmon would be fine for the kitten, or cooked egg has a lot of protein that's good for him. Also any sandwich meat you have around. Tuna actually isn't that good for cats, the healthiest choice is egg, but the others work fine too. Don't stress over it too much, by 6 months, he can go a night without eating, but it would be best to give him something.

I believe it's best to feed cats (and dogs) food that specifically formulated for their little bodies. Cat food and cat treats. That way you don't have to worry about whether she's getting all the nutrients she needs (ESPECIALLY if she's still a kitten!).
If you are interested in learning about nutrition for cats, though, I'm sure there are websites and books available with instructions for preparing fresh "human" foods for cat consumption.

If you want to give her a treat, try wet cat food or cat treats. Cats love getting these as treats, and because they are designed for cats, it won't give her an upset stomach or worse health problems.

NO! never give a cat or dog human food! It can cause so many health problems, it's not worth it . Kitty is perfectly happy eating kitten/cat chow.

Sure! Cooked, finely diced chicken or turkey (no bones) hamburger, yogurt, all kinds of cheese, little bites of fish, lean beef, pork or lamb;really any kind of meat. And cottage cheese is fine,as long as dairy agrees with her.Eggs are good, too,if she likes them. And,some cats love melon, sweet corn, peas and broccoli.I had a cat who loved all of them, and she loved spaghetti, too, and lived a long, healthy life!
