I wrote on here previously about my 10 mth old cat being traumatised. Thanks to all who answered, your replies were very helpful. However, his tail seems to be hanging down all the time now. Could it be broken?

We have given him Iams in the past. But this seems to lead to him having struvite crystal problems.
Other cat owners tell me that it can resolve itself or that the food doesn't always matter.
I know if he is totally blocked that he could die. Please does anyone know where and how the bladder is supposed to feel??
Last vet visit the vet pressed and out the urine came.........I don't want to hurt him...is this an emergency situation??

Hello, i recall reading somewhere that cats tend to stay away from people who are dying. Is this true? Have you heard of this? And if so why do they do it? I know cats can sense things humans don't, is it just something they can sense, and are afraid of?

I'm not talking about instead of dry or wet catfood, more of a treat thing.

I have one that LOVES carrot salad from the deli.
Another one drives me crazy begging for the lettuce off my hamburger (no thanks to meat) and will eat it all of it if I give it to her!

I have a cat, It is a very nice cat, but sometimes takes friends home. Lately one of his "friends" has been staying around and not leaving. It sneaks into our garage and eats all my other cats food, it sleeps under our porch and wont go away!
My cant doesnt seem to mind it. I know it sounds silly but I think he is encouraging it!
Some of the people I live with have tried intimidating it into leaving, but it wont leave. We have tried jumping at it, hissing at it, spraying water at it, and who knows what else. It isnt scared of us at all.
The person I live with is threatening to kick it, but i have forbidden them to. I dont want them to harm the cat, but i am worried that they will because they have a history of cat cruelty. They are now asking what alse they should do. I have no clue what to do, so i'm turning to you guys. I Need your help!

My cat's breath is terrible. I can smell it even when he is cleaning himself a few feet away. He has treats that are good for his teeth, but is there anything out there for bad breath?

I've had this adult male russian blue for about 7 weeks. Tonight I was laying on the couch with my head propper up against the arm of the couch, and the cat jumped on the couch arm..and put both his paws around my head like it was a ball and started rubbing his face all over the back of my head! (Actually it felt pretty good, kind of like a massage)! I thought maybe he wanted to play, but he didnt respond to my playful overtures.

What do you think this was about? BTW, he just got back 2 days ago after being boarded for a week while I was out of the country.

She somehow got onto our roof and crawled down the chimney! She has been there for about 6 hours now. We have been up on the roof lowering food & water down to her on a string and she seems fine, not injured at all, but is really stuck! Please, any suggestions?!?!?

If they don't feel like eating it right then, they might scrape at the floor and try to bury their dish. Why?

My cat's seem to seek me out and want attention and love but do they love me or just like me because I am warm and give them food?

Oliver will try to scrape litter from the roof of the pan, the sides of the pan...everywhere except for where he should actually be scraping from. Do you think he is so clean that he doesnt want to touch his own poopy? He has always done this. He also acts like he is trying to cover his water and food sometime by making a scraping motion on the floor around his bowl. Kind of weird. Any idea what this is all about?

There's a bully cat in the neighborhood that I think has been harassing it, so I want it to get back it's confidence by trying to at least intimidate the cat away. Hope it gets away without having to actually fight.

i can not afford to take her to the vet. of curse thats what i should do i know. my mom said no. im 13, so its not like i can pay but i would if i could. i love my cat soo much. she is less than a year old and had kittens yesterday. she won't eat or drink and is skinny, and wont feed her kitties! i think she is too sick. she used to be claean and now she let herself go. i have read a very similer question like mine (by allisonsmith6980) and her turnout is that the kittens died. i dont want anybody to die! and i dont think i can take her to the vet because she is a stray that a took in a year ago. they are newborn and i cant feed them regular milk with a bottle! what should a do?! please help me understand whats wrong if a vet is answering this question, and what i should do (there outside in a little house) untill i can beg for my parents to take her (or the kittens..?) to the vet. thanks.
