Be careful not to cut into the blood line. Don't cut more than 1/8 of an inch or your cat can bleed badly and might get an infection. If your not sure what your doing, study up on the subject more. Read the links I provided below for expert advice.
Cat nails are not the same as humans but do grow back.

Yes, they will grow back. I always cut my cat's nails because they get way too sharp, and they end up growing back in no time. I actually bought dog nail clippers to use on him and they seem to work the best.

Yes, they will grow back. But, don't cut them too short. There is a white part near the nail and that is where you should not cut past.

yes, the nails will grow back....best use the special nail-cutter for cats to cut the tip of the nails (do not cut too much as it might hurt them).

yes the will grow back but be careful of the quick or there could be alot of blood loss if your scared that you might cut them a little to short and into the quick then you should get this powder that you dip the nail into and it seals it just in case you should be able to get it if you talk to a vet

Yes, they will grow back. Be sure not to cut them so close that it will hurt them - into the quick. If you look at their nails, you can see a red line closer to the paw - do not cut into this red line.

If you are just trimming them, they do come back, but if you get them taken out, then they will not be back. I am thinking you are talking about trimming them. You use these special nail clippers for cats. They should sell them in the cat section at your local pet store. Good luck!

Yes they'll grow back, but if they are a problem, try using softpaws, don't consider declawing since it's (despite what another poster seems to think) illegal is most countries and a few states in the USA are now also makint it illegal for good reason.

Yes, depending if he is an outdoor animal cut them moderate If its indoor what ever you do not declaw your pets and let them out the vet will let you know that your cat will always have to remain inside the home since other cats might attack him/her and it wont have any claws to defend itself.

Definitely..If you really wanna put a stop to the problem, besides cutting the nails periodically, you could have your cat undergo an OP at any vet to totally remove those nails..sound kinda inhumane. but its already a general practice amongst cat lovers..try it!!
