Edit: Did he just get his rabies shot today? If so, and if the diarrhea just started after he got the shot, then it could be a sign of a very serious vaccine reaction - get him back to the vet NOW. Diarrhea &/or vomiting after vaccines can be a sign of a life-threatening vaccine reaction: http://www.purinaone.com/catcare_cond_atoz_article.asp?Seed=669&ArticleNumber=56

Cottage cheese may actually make things worse - most cats are lactose intolerant, and milk products will give them diarrhea. I would suggest taking him to the vet for a thorough checkup - he may have intestinal parasites or a health condition that needs to be treated to clear up the diarrhea.

First of all, call the vet who gave him the rabies shot, to see if he thinks there is a problem with the shot and what can be done. Thenn, Feed him skinless chicken breast and rice, or Hill's feline i/d or Royal canin Intestinal. If this goes on for more than 1-2 days, take him to the vet. I suppose he's been treated for worms. And make sure he doesn't dehydrate, check that he drinks water. Finally, it's a good idea to wipe his butt with a baby wipe, so that he doesn't get infected or burned by the runny poop.

Hello & QUIT the cottage cheese, that's what's causing the diarhea... NO MILK/DAIRY PRODUCTS to weaned animals, it makes them sick & can kill them, they dehydrate !!! Now what you can do is Kaopectate bout 1/4 teaspoon every 2 hours till it stops or for one day & see what happens, no food..just water till it clears up...when it does clear up ..then his regular cat food is all he gets when he can eat again..if this does not clear the problem up or it worsens..TIME 4 A VET...Take Care :)

starve him for 24hrs with only water given. then introduce dry food such as james wellbeloved for 24 hrs, then reintroduce his wet food. if this fails he needs to be checked by a vet and given some canicur for it. i gave mine some live yoghurt it is better than cottage cheese. don't give cats human milk ie cows, goats milk there is too much lactose in them hope this helps
