My cat has not eaten for about 3 weeks. He has lost weight, hasn't pooped for 2 weeks or so (obviously if he's not eating.) He is drinking water. He hides under the bed all day and won't play. He is 10 years old. He has not been poisoned. I thought maybe he could have worms, so I bought All Wormer for cats and gave it to him a week ago. Haven't seen a difference. I have 3 different kinds of dry food and he won't eat any. He won't even eat wet food. But now when he drinks, he throws up immediately. I don't have money for the vet. I've given him tuna cause it's better than nothing and he'll eat just a pinch and then throw up. Any advice on how I can get him to eat? Or what could be wrong?

I don't want to lock myself up in the room at night, but I would like him to stop waking me up from chewing on my hair... (I've actually even tried wearing a hat to deter him, but then he started biting my hands...)

I'm not getting too much sleep anymore for work. And he's not a kitten anymore.

Can anyone tell me what would make my cat drool? It's like she's fine, except every time she puts her head down she drools. I don't know if maybe she drank some plant water (I try to keep them out of reach but she finds them sometimes), or what. Last year when I put flea meds on her she drooled and the vet said it was the taste, but I haven't put any on her for about 2 weeks now, so the taste would be gone. I'm really freaking out though, so if anyone thinks they know, please let me know what you think it is. Thanks so much.

Hi, I have an 8 month old russian blue kitten that I got from a rescue shelter. She has been doing very well until last night. She seems to be in a lethargic state, and prone to skittishness out of the blue, swiping at objects or stalking around the house, seemingly frightened of things not there. Almost like she is hallucinating. And her eyes are very dialated, and her breathing seems very quick and shallow. I really have no idea WHY she is acting this way! Please help me!

I have looked up types of cats before but I can never find one just like him. My parents got him for me at a feedstore and they dont know either. He is pure white with green eyes and he has long fur. Its not long long but its not short. Here is a picture of him:

My sisters science teacher said that cat see us as large blurry cats. She said they can't tell the difference between different people. I always thought cats could tell who their owners were. the other day my husband bent down to make the cat come to him so he could pat her but she didn't move. I bent down and she came to me straight away.

one is good, you can give them more attention, but two is fun, they play with eachover and keep eachover company and grow up together. there isnt much difference in cost.

im worried that one may go missing and would leave his brother depressed, or that its harder to keep track of 2 constantly wondering where the other one is e.t.c

My daughter got a cat who became sick within a day. She took her to the vet 4 different times for repeated tests, treatments, experiments, etc. all within a month's time. She was told that the cat would likely die, but the vet would like to try this treatment and then another, and another until more than a $600 bill was racked up. She was told that the cat was fine and she could take her home only to stay up all night with a howling cat that gradually went blind and suffered greatly until being put sleep the next morning. Of course they charged her for this service also. First we would like to have some info about what killed the cat. One diagnosis was respiratory infection. She had fever repeatedly and received more than one antibiotic. Next we want to know when the vet should have relieved both the cat and owner of the pain. I feel this was a case of cruelty to animals and abuse of a young caring pet lover.
