I wanted a NICE cat all my life and I got a cat. well this cat is the cat from hell. she used to claw us constantly until she was declawed as a kitten. ( she's 3 now ). Now she bites me every chance she gets, she doesn't always use the litter box. I should mention we got her from a barn. anyway how can i convince my mother to get rid of this B*tch of a cat and get a small dog instead?

I'm pretty sure that's what is going on. 5 years ago his bladder ruptured and was in the hospital for 2 weeks, said he had a mass in his urethia, unoperable, if they did, he would have to wear diapers, no way a cat. Anyway, lately, he has spells and can't pee for a few days, screames trying, then he starts peeing. A week later we go thru it again. Don't say, PUT HIM DOWN, he's my life, I won't do it. I'm pretty sure it's stones. Is there something I can give him daily to desolve these things? Seems to me he keeps makeing them. I sure hope someone knows, THANKS, it's killing both of us.

I took my cat to be declawed. He didnt put stiches or glue on her just left the bones open. Now she has had a infection. I took her to another vet and he had to amputate more of her toes and put her on anitbiotics and strong pain med. And her pads will nevre grow back and of course she won't have toes now either.

My male cat walks around the house meowing constanly. He is not allowed out side and has NEVER been outside. But he just sits and the window and meows. I was told its bc he is not neutered . So Im wondering if anyone else has any suggestions besides having him snipped! He also does this at night but thats because he wants to sleep in my room where he is not allowed.

My boy kitty has limpnode cancer and getting progressively worse. He is on steriods to ease his pain as they told me there is no way to help him. He was near twenty pounds (big cat) now he is under 10. He doesn't appear to be suffer much other than an occasional moan. He still purs and is eating (not like he used to though). He spends a lot of time in the hallway sleeping by himself. Doesn't socailize much with my other cat anymore. In one week I start a new job and will be gone 10 hours a day. I am very stressed out about leaving him home alone that long. I'm by myself, just me and the two cats. I'm trying to determine if / when is appropriate to let my baby boy go. This is so hard.

We are bring home our new kitten on Friday and we need a name for her.
She has this very cute M on her forehead, so something begining with M would be nice, but not essential.
Any ideas you guys have would be appreciated.

So far we have Minty, Matilda, Misty.

Thanks

I have a male cat whos about 5 years old. I've had him ever since he was about 6 weeks old. For the past few months he's been walking around the house meowing for no apparent reason. He will some times do it during the day, at night, it really does not matter. I don't think he's lonely since he will sometimes walk past me if i'm sitting down and then go meow. It gets REALLY annoying when you're trying to sleep and the cat is meowing. He's been neutered for most of his life. We have 2 other cats that are females as well (one female is 15 years old and the other is like 3-4 and both are spayed). Anybody have any idea why he is doing this?

I need help on hiding my Cat.My mom moved us into an apartment that allowed Cats (pets) in October,Just recently (Last Friday) the owners of the building changed their mind and my mom already got rid of my other 2 kitties.I can't loose my last Cat I love him too much.I don't know what to do tho because the owner's are gonna be selling the place and the people who own the building now made it perfectly clear to my mom that she is not to have any Cat or Pet.Now the problem is the Owners of the apartment also own the Deli downstairs from the apartment. And also they are gonna be bringing people up here showing them the building,Idk where I can hide my kitty at..I don't wanna have to get rid of him but if they catch him here we're gonna be in big trouble can anyone tell me where would be a safe and good place to keep the Cat while the owners have people in my apartment showing them it?

They have only within the past few months started bringing their prey inside, and as you may be able to imagine it can be quite disturbing even gross. I realize that they are proud of what they are doing and want to share but I would prefer that they left the bounty outside.

Okay, here is my question. Why don't you ever see cats on a walk. You see dogs on walks. And it is not true that cats don't like the outside, because a lot of people let there cats run loose. I personally am not a cat lover, but i LOVE dogs. Could it be that people love there dogs more then there cats?
No offense cat lovers, but i am just guessing here.

I have a oriental cat that i paid allot of money for so i don't like to let her outside on her own because it seems to be a big problem now of cats being stolen and we also live near a main road. She is smart but does not like walking on the lead. she will either back away from it when you start to pull on it or fall on the ground and not even make a effort to walk. Is there anyway to encourage her to walk on the lead?

...and then throw up immediately afterwards?

Okay, okay, so it isn't always, but it happens a lot, like once every two days of so. She is about 10-12 years old (she was a rescue cat, so hard to be sure) and I feed her Iams complete dry food. If I feed her "wet" cat food it tends to give her diarrhoea so I avoid it. She definitely doesn't have fur balls or anything as the vet has checked her out for that. Any ideas?

We have 3 cats. Have had them all for 2 years now. Nothing has changed. Not the food, not the litter, no new animals in the house, no change in residence. The litter boxes are always clean. However the youngest cat (finally figured out which one it IS) keeps crapping in different spots all around the house. She's not peeing, just taking enormous smelly craps all over. It is absolutely disgusting and I don't know what to do. I have a vet appt. scheduled for her on Mon. where they want a stool sample... (no problem getting that, huh?). What if they find nothing wrong with her? What do you do? I can't keep finding this everywhere. What does one do? Seriously. I can't think of disowning an animal of mine, but this is really gross!!!
