We are bring home our new kitten on Friday and we need a name for her.
She has this very cute M on her forehead, so something begining with M would be nice, but not essential.
Any ideas you guys have would be appreciated.

So far we have Minty, Matilda, Misty.

Thanks

Thank you all for your great suggestions.
We both still really like Minty and Matilda (Tilly) but now we have added Mittens Maisy and Meg.

We are gonna see what she fits when we get her home.

So thanks again for the ideas.
B

You could always wait a bit to give your kitten a definite name. A cat I had as a kid, I couldn't think of a name for it. After a couple weeks of having the cat, it started stealing razors if they were left out. I'd find razor laying every where, the damn thing would even HIDE the razors in different places. So Razor was the name, lol. My grandmother has a cat that would always hide, so she chose the name Heidi. If y'all can't figure out the reason behind that well then you're awful slow, lmao.

I like the idea of naming the cat Mouse. In a way, the irony of it would make it cute.

Mouse, Mog, Mac, Mickey, Millie, Max. Good luck with the new kitten. We had a cat called Minty that was a legend of a cat, so that would be my first suggestion.

Here is the best name. Em. I wish Emily a long and happy life.
Look after her well and she will give you a lot of pleasure.

The strangest name I ever gave one of my cats was Seefor.
( C for cat.) and Cookingfat which was a nice way of saying Fookingcat. She was a stray that decided to live in our garden and did not take long to take over our house.

What does she look like? Look her directly in the eyes, does she have character? Look goofy? Playful? What? Are you just staying with "M" names or does it matter? Ok, here goes.... Madison. Isabella. Daisy. Molly. Majenta. Maggie. Sunny. Abbigale, Abby for short. Morning Glory. Just to name a few.

I used to have a cat (admittedly a boy) who I called Moose. I actually named him after the dog in Frasier, Eddie, whose real name is Moose, because the dog died just before I got my kitten. I thought it might be quite an unusual name for a cat :)

Wow I can't believe you'd want someone else to name your cat. Even EmBex, Mex or Mexxy would be better than something someone else thought up.

My son named his hamster Dickie after 10 seconds thought. Only later did I realise he calls everything Dickie. But it stuck and Hamster is now Dickie.

Come on! Use some animal-parental-responsibility!
