It sounds to me like your cat has an infected lump from another cat biting it. The lump is filled with pus/blood and if it breaks, your cat will be sicker. My suggestion is to take the cat to the doctor ASAP. Surgery is the only treatment for this condition. My cat had that last year and the lump burst just as I was taking him to the vet. The smell is horridable and he was operated on and came home with several stitches in his face. The wound healed quickly. I hope this helps.

Sounds like your cat has an abcessed tooth. Which is quite common especially in older cats. The smell is from the infection. Take her to the vet asap. Animals and people can die from abcessed teeth if the infection reaches the brain, though not that common.

Take her to the vet immediately. It sounds like either an abcess or a tumour of some type. (If you had a similar thing on your face would you hold off on seeing a doctor?) Hopefully, it is something that can be easily taken care of in the vet's office.

What are you waiting for? Your cat obviously has an infection and is in pain. Be a responsible pet owner and take your cat to the vet. The longer you wait, the longer you prolong your cats suffering.

It's an abscess. She either got into a fight with another cat (ie. bite or scratch wound). It healed over & now that lump is infected. It's full of puss. You need to take her to the vet's for them to open & drain it. Then antibiotics.

If it is sore you probably should not be feeling it. The best thing to do would be take your cat to the vet. If you cant go to the vet I would go to a pet store and see if they can be of any help. Good-Luck!!

If you don't take that cat to the vet today then you aren't responsible enough to have a pet.

it sounds like a cyst. My cat was allergic to flea collars and some flea medicines and he would develop nasty pus-filled cysts on his neck. You should take him to the vet to have it cleaned out or the bacteria could get into his blood-stream and kill him

You probably already have but take her to the vet, it could possibly be a spider bite or some kind of tumor.
