I have a cat(7 yrs) and a kitten(6 weeks old tomorrow), I want to get them both defleaed. How much (average) will this cost me per cat? My cats are indoor only, and someone brought fleas inside my house. =(
I gave them both a flea bath, and I flea bombed. BUT I still see fleas crawling on my poor kitten~! I need to get rid of them asap! Thanks!

I have two cats that are 9 months old, a male and a female. The male is driving me nuts! He has become very needy and he sheds like crazy! He wants to sleep with us at night and when I shut the door to go to bed, he tries to get in. We recently put up a baby gate because the door is a bi-fold. He would ram it and whine until we let him in. We let him sleep with us the past two nights and he and the female keep me up all night! I don't know what to do. My fiance sleeps through it all and I'm the one who doesn't get any sleep. His hair is becoming a problem because it's all over my kitchen. I find him on my counters, on top of my fridge, on the table, and on top of my cabinets! I don't like eating hair so I scrubbed the kitchen and when I was done, I found more hair! I've tried everything. I don't know what to do. This cat is causing problems between me and my fiance and I'm ready to leave because I just can't take it anymore. This problem has been going on too long. Any advice?

A friend's two cats are Maine Coone brothers from the same litter and they have always lived together. On friday one was hit by a car and had to spend three days in hospital having his leg dealt with. He has to be confined to one room to stop infection but the other cat obviously cannot be as it needs to go out to toilet etc. The well brother has taken a dislike to the ill cat since his return from the vets. He hisses and tries to attack his brother. The ill brother still tries to greet his sibling in an affectionate way.
What do you think might be causing it, we have thought maybe that he smells different, the well cat has got used to being an only cat even though his brother was only gone for three days or that he doesn't recognise him? Any help and ways of solving this problem would be greatfully recieved.

The Kitten is litter trained and when he does it she pees, and he still continues to try. They will wrestle around and then he goes for her behind and starts to lick. It's like he's obsessed. Does anyone know why and what we can do to prevent him from doing this without discouraging him from wanting to play with her forever?

I have a cat who uses the box to pee but not to poop. He goes behind our desk. It's very frustrating... We made the box more private for him hoping that it would change his routine..... and it is cleaned out often. Any suggestions or reasons what is causing this?? He's almost 8 years old also.

The girl that lives below me has cats, i don't know how many, but the smell of cat urine has been creeping up into my apartment. At first it was just smelling by my front door, which is on her level, now my whole apartment smells, it's coming through the vents. I doubt she will clean it up, someone else in our apartment said that she lets the cats use the whole basement as a litter box! how can i have something done on a community level, who can i call to come out and inspect her place or something like that? i really need help with this, the smell is becoming unbearable......why should i have to smell barnyard smells all day? How could she live like this? somebody help me!

Or are they just a way to regularly line the pockets of the Vetinary Practice? (UK)

I have kept (outdoor) cats for about 15 years, some I have had immunised regularly and some not, and I've not had any problems when I haven't. What are other peples thoughts on this?

I have never really been a *cat* person, yet my hubby loves cats of any kind.
My mother in law lives with us, and her cat *Penny* went missing, so we started a major search for her, a day later we heard a faint sound coming from the wall (between the cottage and neighbours garage). Hubby jumps up onto the roof, (thankfully not breaking any legs or arms). The space is a mere 50cm but 3meters down. And we hear meeeoooowwww..but so softly.
Call the animal anti cruelty, they only have a 1.2meter rescue pole. We finally find a long pole with a net at the end we sort of start fishing the kitty out.
No its not Penny, but a two week old kitten. Hubby gives me this *I have to have this kitty* look, down to the vets we go, we name the kitten *Milli* she was then 2 weeks old, yet two days later *Penny* comes back home, they are now only becoming friends, five months later.
So how did your Kitty become part of your family?

im starting to think lately that me and my cat phantom were lovers in a past life.. i know it sounds completly strange, im not crazy *twitches* seriously.

ever since i had had my baby boy, he hasnt been nothing but totally affectionate to me, he waits by the door until i get home, and i cant sit down for more then 2 mins without him on my lap, rubbin the top of his head up my neck slowly and the side of his face with mine, and he lays on his back voulenteery in my arms like a baby and touches and strokes my face with his paw with no claws, and the looks he gives me are powerful strong convincing loving look, the type of stuff that makes the heart melt..

do u think its possible.. or am i just completely nuts..??

A friend mentioned that when scooping out his cats' litter box, he flushes the waste down the toilet. Another friend said that this was a bad idea and could cause clogs, septic problems, and other issues. I live in a townhouse, but the toilet and plumbing systems are not new. Would it be okay to flush away litter box waste, or is it a bad idea?

All my cats go outside, but one. I have four cats. So three go outside. Theres a really nasty cat roaming my neighboorhood, and it has been foaming, ear torn off, and it's just plain creepy. I try not to let my cats outside but they still go out, so my question is what are the signs of any kind of bad cancer? And how do I get rid of the cat? And will my other cat get their sickness?

I live with my boyfriend and his sister. She brought a cat home. She is never home to care for the cat, but we are and we love doing it. We buy his food and litter 98% of the time, but i usually throw out my receipts. She paid for his vaccinations, but we paid to have the cat neutered. I don't want her to try and take the cat if she leaves, but I don't know if she has a right to.

My cat is a pure bred Devon Rex straight from the breeder so there should be no history of abuse or food issues. She is sweet and loving but if you give her food and then try to take it away she will grown and even hiss. (Never bites or scratches though she is a good kitty) There is always food out so it's not like she is starved. It's more funny than anything it's kind of like a dog. I just wonder why she does it.

My 5 month old kitten is in heat, or at least I think so. She might be approaching that point. I have an appointment made for her to be spayed, but the earliest I could get is next week. In the meantime, what can I do to ease her and make her more comfortable and happy?
