I had a cat who used to sit with his tongue hanging out of his mouth when he relaxed. It would make people laugh just to see it!

we had a Maine coon cat for 15 years that had the entire neighborhood 'snowed'. He would lie on his back and sleep in the middle of the street and the cars went around him to keep from disturbing him. He also would lie on his back and play dead for hours for the cat birds to fly down and get closer and closer to until finally.......dinner! He was such a loving cat and I miss him so. He brought me a gorgeous green garden snake once, numerous other small animals. One year I kept him inside for 2 weeks while baby birds were gaining their flying abilities and had neighbors from 1/2 mile away driving over to see if he was ok. I didn't even know the people, but He did. He also chased dogs...

The cat I used to have, Cleo, would swat at my ankle as I walked by her if I did not acknowledge her either by talking to her or petting her. She would also go sit under the phone on the wall and meow when the phone would ring. She also knew the sound of my car and as I would pull into the driveway she would get between the blinds and the window to watch me come in the door. She was so smart and loved me. I miss her alot. I moved to a townhouse that didn't allow pets. :(

My cat Marley sometimes purrs and miaows at the same time, so it sounds like "brrrmiaow?".
One time a couple of years ago I was doing homework on my bed, and asked Marley if she'd help me. She then stuck her paw out and began turning the pages of my book, and then she tried to take my pen in her mouth! I know she was only playing but it was so funny. I hadn't even made the book or pen move to catch her attention.
She's a coward too. If a strange cat comes into our garden, she'll crouch down and stare at them for ages. But if someone goes outside with her, she'll run after them because she knows she has back-up!

Ok my cat Foxy, when she is hungry, jumps up on the bed when I'm sleeping and touches my face softly to let me know that she wants me to hand feed her.
She plays hide and seek with me and she runs with a kind of funny sideways run and sometimes she runs like a horse, jumping over stuff in her way as if they were hurdles.
She licks my lollipop and chocolate and my buttered toast bread. She licks the lollipop like if it's water and she's living in the desert.
When she's in heat (thank God she came out of it!) She rolls over and over from one side to the next.
If she's lying down on the floor and I pass by her, she will reach out and touch my foot and then I'll goback and give her a big kiss (kissES) and a hug.

My cat, Monster :aka: Monty, has this habit of dragging my clothes around. He never makes a mistake on who's clothes he is dragging around. It's always mine. He takes it to his kitty jungle gym in the livingroom. It doesn't matter if it's dirty or clean. Also, when he's wondering around the house...if he wants something...he meows so that it sounds like Meowma =) He only does it for me...any other time...it's a regular meow.

My cat, Gus, cries for me when I am out of the house, even if I am only getting the mail, when I come back in he kind of chirps at me, flops himself ON my feet, and rolls onto his back. I'm the only person he will let rub his tummy.
As for funny....when we watch nature shows he chases the bird sounds around the room, following them as they move from surround sound speaker to speaker!
He is also the cat I've ever known who likes water. He gets into the shower with me, drinks from the bathroom fawcett, and tries to catch his reflection in the toilet water!

My cat sleepy would get on the table and swat the third hand on the clock. We named him sleepy cause when he was a baby he would fall a sleep on his plate. Also my dog and him would play together and protect each other from other cats and dogs. He beat up a pit bull one time tha was trying to pick a fight with my dog.

Our calico wants to go out on the back porch in the morning, drinking from the water on the cement from the sprinklers. Then she waits and waits for me to come out, goes into the lawn and starts to munch, as I comb her. This is an every morning routine! After I pick her up and she comes back inside to cuddle.
