The Kitten is litter trained and when he does it she pees, and he still continues to try. They will wrestle around and then he goes for her behind and starts to lick. It's like he's obsessed. Does anyone know why and what we can do to prevent him from doing this without discouraging him from wanting to play with her forever?

He is cleaning her.some males have maternal instincts also, i know my male siamese, Merlin, does. I adopted a little orange kitten after his friend died, and Merlin would wrestle the kitten to the floor and clean him, just like a momma cat would. If the kitten tried to get up, he would give kitten a correctional bite, and finish cleaning.
If the kitten is really as young as you say, your siamese realizes that she still needs care from "mom", so he it stepping in. It's cute. He'll stop when she is older.

He is just trying to care for the kitten as a momma cat would...
Don't try to prevent them from doing it...
The kitten will outgrow the need to be cleaned and your Siamese will back off...
They are forming a wonderful bond with one another...

Siamese cats "break the mold" in lots of ways. One of them is that male Siamese cats are a lot more inclined to "parent" a kitten where other males usually just ignore them. (Or kill them if they want to trigger the female into heat again.)

He's just trying to be a dad. Eventually he'll give it up, even if it doesn't happen until your kitten grows up enough that she can stand up to him and tell him to leave her alone.

well some cats do that, they clean others, but pretty soon this kitten will be going in to heat, so this could just be the male cats way of trying to make this cat a Queen(female cat who produces kittens) by showing*ahem interest.

she is catering to her mother instincts
leave her be cats will do that always, be happy that they get along.

why do you have a 4 wk old kitten?
they should not be taken from their mothers until 6 wks...the kitten should still ned mothers milk... unless you are wrong about teh age

maybe the kitten does not clean after herself and you cat thinks she smells and is teaching to top clean itself

maybe the cat still thinks it is his responsibility to keep her clean .... since most momma cats take on the responsibility to tend to their young for more then 4 weeks, maybe he is just doing what the momma cat would be doing.

it is the way a mama cat stimulates babies into peeing, they cant just pee when they need to...he is just being overly protective...as the baby gets older he will do it less
