My kitty will not drink cat milk. However, he LOVES to drink my milk after I eat cereal. My question...sometimes it does have a little sugar or Splenda.. will it hurt him? I don't think it will......but how unhealthy is that if he drinks it once a week?

Also, what about a little ice cream? ;-) He gives me the look and I can't say no!

I've always kept the temperature pretty low (55-60) in the house, ever since I've had my 2 kitties (when I rescued them at 4 weeks old). I hear them sneezing a lot and I don't want them to get sick. Funny thing is, though, when it's warm outside (like at 75) and I turn on the AC the cats run to the vents and hold their faces over it LOL to cool them off I'm guessing.

So have they just adapted to the cold and like it? Or do cats as a species like warmer weather? Why are they sneezing all the time? They don't appear to be sick at all. Everything looks normal and healthy. Even at their checkups, the Vet says so...

I have a cat that is about 8 years old. He is constantly in the cat box, or recently he has been going to the bathroom in the bedroom in the corner. He sleeps in the bathtub and the other day I noticed that there are small drops of blood, a very light color almost pink that are on the floor or in the tub. I think it happens after he has a bowel movement. He eats and drink normally but has had 2 urinary tract infection over the course of his life. He is on speical food. what is wrong? any advice?

I am fostering kittens for a shelter, and we are allowed to name them. But they want us to keep the names in a theme. An example of ones already used were like Hazel and the Nuts and they were Hazel, Peanut, walnut.

Got any cute ideas? Four 1 week old kittens (no i didnt take them from their mother, she died and the shelter called me to be the mom) One light orange, one dark orange, one light grey, one black.

I have to move into a new apartment where pets are not allowed, but I MUST bring my cat. I need ideas on how to keep him from sitting in the front window. I thought I could put some bitter orange stuff that keeps animals away from things on the window sill, but any tips would be sooooo appreciated.

Here is a quick question for you all.

My lovely Neutered male cat likes to go outside regularly. Well, about 3 months or so ago, he brought home a friend. (This is not the first time he has done this.) Well, I put food outside for her and left her alone. My male refused to leave me alone, until I brought her inside. He screamed in the window until I gave in. Well, less than a month later, she had kittens. These kittens are now 9 weeks old, and I have had them fixed on Monday. I can't keep them myself because I already have 4 dogs, 3 cats (including their mother) and a hamster.

Now for the question. Do you think putting a sign outside (I live in a nice area, very near a school) and selling the kittens for say, $10 would be alright? I am afraid to just give them away, because someone may just take one on a whim, and then dump it at the pound. I though $10 isn't much, but it may make someone think twice. What do you think?

I rescued my oldest kitty from a kill shelter, he had a week before he was to be put to sleep. Then this morning I found a baby kitten in my parents garage all by itself. The mother who we had since I was 10 recently passed away, the other kittens passed away and the only one left was this beautiful little girl, who I couldnt stand to let be left alone. I just want my oldest to accept her and still love me in the meantime.

We got a 2 year old cat and then adopted a 6 month old kitten (A domestic Long Hiar) who are in no way related. The store where we got the kitten said she was litterbox trained and for the most part she is. However, we think she is urinating in places other than the litterbox. To make matters worse, I found cat poop on the mat outside the litterbox this morning. How can I get Aliza to use the litterbox all the time? We keep it pretty clean and change the litter at least once a month. We also have two boxes since the cats are still getting used to each other and don't always get along. Could Aliza be doing this because our older cat chases her around, and not in a playful way? Any help is appreciated.

My cat uses her litter box so much that i'm worried she has a UTI. Is it the same for humans? The urgency thing? She doesn't meow in pain when she urinates and she always uses her box, but she goes in there every 10 minutes and I am just so confused by it. Am I just being paranoid?

Pay attention and see the horrors that continue worldwide people. What do we do about this? Nothing, because we are so wrapped up in our own lives that we fail to realize the atrocities of real life. Many of us have dealt with incest, abuse, rape, murder...animals are innocent, and therefore our best friends. People are the main issue, so knock off the projection.

I'm getting a female kitten, about 7 weeks old, and I currently have a male cat 4 years old. Any suggestions on helping them get used to each others company with little blood shed? The boy cat hasn't been around other cats in a while, he's an only child.

Thanks.

My landlord doesn't know I have three cats, and they are constantly trying to go in the windows (which overlook his work). I try training them not to go in the windows, but they don't mind the squirt bottle and jump back up no matter how many times I remove them. I don't want them to be discovered while I am out at work. I'm beginnning to think that locking them up may be my only option, besides getting rid of them. I really don't want to get rid of them. And yes, I know I shouldn't have three if I am not allowed but I found the two kittens as strays and got kind of attached. Also, when I adopted them I was still with my boyfriend, and between us we were home often enough that this wouldn't be an issue. However, he recently moved out and so I am in a pickle here.

We had a cat that would let us know he wanted in by climbing the screen door, so when you opened the wooden, he'd be stuck there right at face level. We'd open it cuz we'd here his toenails coming out of the screen at every step.

Another cat watched my brother and me playing with this hotwheels cars thing, where you push the car into this house and it shoots it out the other side and around the track.

The cat would chase the car and bat at the hole, so after a while, we left a car sitting at the going in side, and the cat batted it in, so it'd shoot around. He'd do it over and over too.
