I am fostering kittens for a shelter, and we are allowed to name them. But they want us to keep the names in a theme. An example of ones already used were like Hazel and the Nuts and they were Hazel, Peanut, walnut.

Got any cute ideas? Four 1 week old kittens (no i didnt take them from their mother, she died and the shelter called me to be the mom) One light orange, one dark orange, one light grey, one black.

A friend with 4 kitties has: Johnny Walker, Capt. Morgan, Jose Cuervo, and Jack Daniel.

Of course.. that probably says a lot about the friend more so than the cats.

If you want to sound a bit snooty name the cats after artists or literary figures. My cat is Matisse, other artsy names like picasso, michelangelo, boticelli, cezanne, rodin may be cute.

As well as literary names: Hemingway, Poe, Twain, Shakespear, Thoreuo, Bradbury

I work in a cat shelter and we are always trying to come up with theme names for our kittens. Here are some ideas:
Weather: Rainy, Stormy, Windy, Cloudy
Gems: Pearl, Jade, Diamond, Onyx
Cutesy stuff: Einey, Miney, Miney, Moe or Bing, Bang, Bam, Boom
Fruits or Flowers: Apple, Peach, Plum, Cherry
Different languages: Uno, Due Tre, Quattro
I could go on and on and on (it's kitten season!)

Think of four people with names that match the sexes. Like if all four boys could be Ringo, Paul, George & John (the Beatles). Or how about country music names, like two boys & two girls could be Elvis, Jerry Lee, Reba, & Dolly. I'm just using musical groups as an example, you could have "Bonnie & Clyde", "Lucy, Ricky, Fred & Ethel" or whatever.
