Sounds exactly as my cats act when they have a urinary infection; get him to a vet for antibiotics. Try to increase his water consumption by serving his water in stainless or glass bowls, or wet his fur so he licks it off, or add a couple spoonfuls of water to his canned food - be sure he is getting canned food as it contains a lot of water. You can also add a teeny pinch of salt to food to increase water consumption. Be sure litter boxes are very clean so he doesn't " hold it" which makes the problem worse. (Cat's often will hold their urine rather than use a dirty box). The blood is probably due to crystals in the urine cutting him; its very painful, so get treatment asap. Also, be alert, if he can't urinate he could block up & die if not treated at the vets immediately.

He could either have another urinary tract infection, or crystals (or a condition called FLUDT). He needs to get a clean urine sample taken out via needle at the vets. It is likely something easy to treat, if it is one of these: Antibiotics, or another food change. I am not sure if it can be anything else, but this definitely calls for a vet visit. It sounds like your cat could be like mine, and suseptible to recurrent infections. You want to prevent it from going to the kidneys, so get it checked and treated asap -- make sure to finish the treatment and that it is a long enough treatment if the kidneys are involved. To make sure his immune system is not shot during treatment, give him acidopholis once or twice a day. Get a good human brand from a HiHealth or something, and make sure it's refrigerated. I get a great brand with multiple strains for just $11 and it lasts a kitty for months (I give it now for different reasons). Good luck!
I WOULD NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE ADVICE TO GIVE ALL YOUR CATS URINARY TRACT FOOD! IF THEY DON'T HAVE THAT HEALTH ISSUE, EATING THE FOOD WILL GIVE THEM ANOTHER ISSUE. THE FOOD CHANGES THEIR PH SO THAT THEY WON'T GET STONES. BUT IF YOU GIVE IT TO THEM AND THEIR PH IS NORMAL, IT CHANGES THEIR PH IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AND GIVES THEM WORSE STONES THAT WON'T GO AWAY WITH A SPECIAL DIET AND CAN CAUSE KIDNEY DISEASE. SO PLEASE DON'T GIVE URINARY MEDICINE DIET UNDER THE ASSUMPTION ALL CATS WILL GET FLUDT OR A URINARY ISSUE! THEY DON'T, BUT MANY DO GET KIDNEY DISEASE FROM EATING FOOD LIKE THIS THAT THEY SHOULD NOT BE FED. CATS THAT EAT SPECIAL URINARY DIET ARE TOO ALKALINE, AND SO THEIR DIET IS ACIDIC. IF YOUR CAT IS NOT ALKALINE, THEN ADDING ACIDIC FOOD CAN MAKE THE CAT WAYYYY TOO ACIDIC AND CAUSE OXOLATE STONES THAT NEVER GO AWAY AND CAN DAMAGE KIDNEYS AND CAUSE INFECTIONS.

Urinary tract infection. He could even have another blockage already. He needs to be looked at right away because if his bladder fills up the urine in there could back up into the blood stream and he could die in very little time of toxicity (blood poisoning).
This is a big deal...please spend a little money to have him checked right away. Delay can be deadly.

Your cat probably has a blockage or partial blockage(little bladder stones/crystals) in his urethra (tube that goes from the bladder to outside the body). He needs to see the vet right away!!!!! Not only is it stinking up your house, he could die if a blockage remains untreated. Some cats have a lot of problems with this and it sounds like he has had problems before.....

Take him to the vet ASAP. The blood goes beyond just having a constipated cat. Make sure to tell the vet about all behavioral changes your cat has had recently.

That is probably the effects of the urinary tract, especially since he had two. Plus, I am sorry to say, Your cats time might be up, try working it out with your vet. Please keep him on that cat food! Our cat had 1 urinary tract and now all six of our cats are eating the urinary tract cat food.

take him to a vet. when a cat won't use the litter box, something is wrong. it is probably painful and he defines the litter box as pain. it is probably a bladder infection, kidney infection, or urinary tract infection. i hope he gets better soon.

he may be blocked or infected again...take him to the vet blood is a sign of infection or straining to pee (blockage) and just a suggestion, mine had the same issues and i put him on purina one for urinary tract health and it works, but if he is showing blood in his urine he needs attention right away

Go see a vet. Bleeding is not a normal part of this. It could be a bladder infection, or much worse.
