my brothers cat has ftp?

can anyone tell me more about this? what can we do?

I don't think it's FTP, unfortunately if it is FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) that is a very serious condition caused by a nasty virus, and the prognosis can be poor. Tell your brother to get the cat to a vet asap, if he hasn't done it already.
