Do you live near weeds, especially the ones with those long-sharp things that get stuck to your socks? Fox-something

Cats, when they travel through the grass and weeds are very prone to getting the sharp pieces that stick out from the weeds lodged in the corner of their eyes. There is a nice little space there for stuff.

Our cats used to get them all the time and we would just pull them out. Sometimes they'd be so far in that it would take a while for it to work out (no more than 24 hours). Rarely we would have to take one to the vet if it went very far in.

If it starts looking worse, your cat doesn't open it's eye, and you still can't tell by tomorrow morning, you may want to think about having a vet look at it.

Good luck to you and your puss.

you could try to flush out her eye cause she could have gotten something stuck in there. If the eye isn't swollen then I really wouldn't panic my animals have the squinty eye sometimes, and it is usually nothing. I have used visine on my puppy before. If it starts to swell up or if she doesn't open it for a couple of days then take her to get checked out by a vet cause you can never be positive.
