im starting to think lately that me and my cat phantom were lovers in a past life.. i know it sounds completly strange, im not crazy *twitches* seriously.
ever since i had had my baby boy, he hasnt been nothing but totally affectionate to me, he waits by the door until i get home, and i cant sit down for more then 2 mins without him on my lap, rubbin the top of his head up my neck slowly and the side of his face with mine, and he lays on his back voulenteery in my arms like a baby and touches and strokes my face with his paw with no claws, and the looks he gives me are powerful strong convincing loving look, the type of stuff that makes the heart melt..
do u think its possible.. or am i just completely nuts..??

ur answer may not lie in the past but the present.
if ur cat is anything like ours when something or someone new is introduced they feel they have to fight for ur affection and if that means giving u more affection than normal and in other manners than normal that is what they will do.
and no i dont believe ur off your rocker since i do believe in past lives as well. but i think its ur new baby boy has been taking up some of your cats time and he thinks u might have forgotten him just like an older child.

Awww, I had a little gray tabby that was an inside kitty and accidentally was let out last October. He was my baby boy and I still haven't gotten over the loss of him. Perhaps you were not lovers (cat sex is nasty and they have barbs on their penises) but maybe you were b.f.fs.

Maybe not lovers but... My cat loves me too, I think they know a good owner and appreciate the love we dish out. I know what you mean, sometimes my cat just stares as me while Im stroking her and she follows me around, will watch me have a bath, gently nibbles me if I stop stroking her, but I honestly think that they just know they'll get their cuddles from us!!

My cat has moments like that too since we moved here. She has no-one else, so we are getting her a friend from the SPCA this weekend, I can't wait.

Some cats can be very affectionate, and act more like dogs. It sounds to me like you have a cat like that.

I think he just loves and admires you because you take good care of him.. cats have many mates so I dont think you where lovers cause they love them and leave them... he just loves you cause you mother him...

dont marry that man your cat is your lover no matter what people think you should be dating your cat dump your human dude and date phantom kiss him(french and normal)and even go over the edge have sex with him i do that and i ditched my human boyfriend please you need to try this trust me touch him in certain (areas) get naughty just try it youll love it please trust me yo will love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my cat does the same to my girlfriend and it is kinda weird. she seems to think its because we rescued him when he was a kitten.
