Sex is a basic instinct, and if both cats are "in the mood", I would imagine so (evidence of this would be candles being lit, perhaps some Marvin Gaye background music, etc). It's also a good sign if both cats were smoking cigarettes afterwards.

I'd have to say "it depends on your definition of 'enjoy'", but if your definition excludes some or all of our fellow mammals, well, your definition must be quite weird. The question could be philosophical rather than objective. It could conceivably have no possible answer (it could be an essentially meaningless question). If it's objective, we should talk about function and behavior. Would it serve the same function in them as it does in us, in order to alter our behavior? I certainly think so. If the question is philosophical and subjective (dealing with qualia), you could also ask "How do I know I'm not the only person in the Universe who really enjoys sex, while everybody else just act mechanically, in the false belief that they enjoy it too?" It would be just as valid. By the way, when i was a kid i used to hump girls long before i was able to have an orgasm, and there are plenty of women who never had one but enjoy sex anyway. You make it sound like you do have orgasms. Well, good for you, but that's not all there is to sexual enjoyment.

Cats have to mate a few times before the female takes pregnancy. The first few times we do not hear about. Only after the male becomes unwelcome we hear the female making a noise. Probably gets sore down there. The licking part is where the female has a discharge down there which has a smell that makes the male want to mate with her. Many mammals have the same thing. Just smells and tastes good to a male cat. Bit gross but that is what it is. lol

Female cats fight the male cats as sort of a test if the male cat wins they mate then wash and leave eachother. Thats life. As for whether they enjoy it I couldn't tell ya b/c I don't speak cat nor am I a cat.

Cat sex is like any other species. It depends on the cat's personality just like people's; they may like it or they may not. The male cat was probably enjoying it much more, hence the licking.

To be honest, I don't know. I never asked my cats. But I'd have to think that if they didn't enjoy it there would be a lot fewer kittens in the world.

Un-neutered male cats have barbed penises (much like a fishhook), and upon withdrawal, the female cat will often scream (whether from ecstasy or pain is questionable). It is also believed that the barbed penis stimulates ovulation, thus ensuring that his genes are passed on to the kittens.

It's normal, but whether they "enjoy" it in the sense we think of is anyone's guess. They sure don't look like they're having fun, especially the females.
