My boyfriend just got a dog, a pit bull, it's a puppy, and my cat and his dog wont get along, what can I do to try to get them get along, all they do is fight, they fight , to see who sleeps on the bed, they fight for me and my boyfriend attiention, they fight over toys and food , help

My long-haired cat would hate a real bath with water. Is there anything on the market that will clean her up and make her smell better besides a shampoo bath?

I did buy generic dry cat food just for the week. He doesn't seem to like it much. Could he be allergic to it? He is healthy, neutered, and up to date on shots. He is a domestic longhair and he sheds a lot. Also, he does have fleas, I just put on a new collar two days ago. Around his tail there is hairloss along with what looks like a rash... Should i bring him to the vet or change his cat food or is it the new flea collar??

I have recently moved, and I am now noticing my cat has a strange "sugary" smell. I can smell it on my clothes when I hold him or sometimes when he just walks by. He is very agitated with the move. I had a female cat, and noticed the exact same smell with her when I first got her, and it turned out she had tapeworm. Does the tapeworm cause the smell? I haven't seen any tapes from this cat, as I did with the female, or is this their normal "stress" smell from the move? It smells nothing at all like urine, just kind of sweet and sugary and unpleasant. Thanks :)

I heard a lot of cat and dog food are being recalled. I feed my cat Special Kitty Indoor formula dry food. Is my cat at risk? He seems just fine.

I got a kitten yesterday for my daughter and after getting it home, I dicovered that the poor little thing was infested with fleas! I went and bought some shampoo from the store that said it was for kittens but on the back it said do not use on kittens under 8 months old.....he is only 3 1/2 months old....is this just a precaution or can I use this stuff? I also bought a 4in1 collar, that said it was safe on cats 3 months or older.Is it good to shampoo him and then put the collar? or is that too much chemicals for my poor little kitten? Please help!

i have heard about the recall on numerous cat food products, but cannot find info on the cat food that i use with my cat. i have read numerous websites that give details on the recall and other brands. i use the wet cat food (cuts and gravy mixes) from 9 lives and meow mix. are any of these contaminated? thanks so much!

one of my cat's loves carrier bag's....to sleep in play in....he just adours them anybody else's cat's do this or anyone know why...he give us some great laughs though..he'll even let you carry him round in it
