At the top of the page (on Petfinder), there is a section titled "Shelter and Rescue Groups". Click on that link and it will give you a listing of places in your area that you can call to see if they can help you by taking in your pet.
There is another section titled "Classified Ads". You can place a free classified ad for your pet. It will run in a section that is organized by state, so people in your state looking for pets may see your ad and call you about your pet.

There is no such thing as a no kill shelter... in those shelters, animals are assessed when they come in and if they're unsuitable, ill or unlikely to be adopted, then they are put to sleep and never see the adoption pens.

Advertise them in the paper, noticeboards in the community, malls, at the vets office. Ask friends, family, work colleagues and if you are permitted, post a flyer at work or send around an email etc.

Take them to a shelter as a last resort, at least there they MIGHT have a chance of getting adopted.

Get rid of your pets? Like you get rid of rubbish? Don't you mean rehome them? You don't just discard them! Don't ever have kids, what will you do if they don't fit your life anymore?

I tried to find a specific list of shelters but they list them seperatley for different locations.

the best thing for you to do is search for "no kill pet shelters"

please look into the ones you would choose as there are regulations that come with these shelters.

I don't reli no what you mean but the other way is letting them die naturally. Putting them to sleep is best in the case of a terminal illness.

Contact local no-kill rescues & shelters. If no one has room (which is possible, since kitten/puppy season is beginning), try finding new homes for your animals, yourself.
Post an ad on Craigslist.org and Petfinder.com.

Either a pure breed rescue or a no-kill sanctuary. Look online or check info locally through other rescues. They may be hard to find but worth checking into.

Your local animal shelter so they can be adopted. Or put an ad in the paper for someone to buy him.
