My boyfriend just got a dog, a pit bull, it's a puppy, and my cat and his dog wont get along, what can I do to try to get them get along, all they do is fight, they fight , to see who sleeps on the bed, they fight for me and my boyfriend attiention, they fight over toys and food , help

They will eventually get along, right now they are just establishing dominance once that is established they will get along great.

I have an adult pit ( 8 years old) who has never had other animals around. My fiance has 2 adult cats (12 years old). When we first moved in together, we kept them seperated by baby gates. We kept the cats from jumping over the gates by using a water bottle. After about a month, we took down the gates and kept the watert bottle out. anytime they started hissing at the dog or the dog chased the cats, we would spray them in the face. Only took two or three times.

Its fine they Will learn to live together eventually ...i was in a similar situation many times and trust me the more they see eachother the more they are gonna have to get along

It took my pets about a month before they could tolerate each other. Just keep a close eye on them. I keep them separated when I'm not home.

somebody has to go,so lock them in a room and may the best animal win simple,oh yea tape it and put it on you tube.

duh dog's and cat's are not suposed to get along.thats why there dog's and cat's.
