Purina Friskies can cat food is manufactured by Nestle Purina Petcare Comp. That was on Purina's recall list today.Go to Purina's web site and check it out.Only thing I can do is pray and wait.GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US.

Even though it's just that list of foods that redunicorn listed, you may want to hold off on canned food as the list has grown since that one was published. Purina brands are now looking into their products and have voluntarily added a couple of their items to the recall list... i'm holding off on can food altogether for my pets to give this recall thing a week or two to make sure they've found all the tainted products so i can be sure my babies are getting good food

No its just the Nutro Natural Choice wet cat foods. The ones in the little packages and in the cans and its only for the chicken recipes. There is also a new brand that they were trying that is called Ultra. They carry dod and cat food, and all those items were asked to be pulled from our shelves. Hope this helps.

I understand the recall to be on canned food, specifically cuts and gravy mixes as well as pouches of food - almost every brand. At this point I would be leery of feeding my pet ANY brand of canned food. Dry is OK.

One of my cats suddenly died yesterday. I had researched this before but didn’t find any results & assumed everything was OK. I was sooo WRONG!!!.
I have just visited GoPetition and found the following page very interesting:
I would appreciate it if you’d follow the link & sign the petition. I was appalled to see that only 308 people have signed it so far. I guess I wasn’t the only one who got no results when I tried to check before it was too late! If you have the time, please forward this link to ALL your friends so maybe they will be willing to help me too!
I don't know how they did it; but Meow Mix has managed to keep this info buried for years. PLEASE help me get the message out!!!

It must be a different supplier because my cats are on 9-lives both dry and canned and none of them have a problem. They have always eaten 9-lives.

If the cat food isn't listed on there, that means it's not included in the recall.
