I have had a 10mo kitten for the past 2mo. He keeps me up all night if I let him in my room. He wants to play. If I shut my bedroom door he scratches and cries the whole night. He has food and access to toys and his litterbox. He's already neutered. Any suggestions?

We have had a stray Tom cat in our yard for a couple of months now. He gets in big fights with our 5 cats, who dont even leave our yard. He has injured out cats several times and sprays all over around our house. We went to humane society to get a live trap to catch him..and he walked by and snubbed all the wet foods we would put in there. We always have food and water in our garage for our cats...and leave it open so they can go in and out as well as inside our house. Since this cat has been tormenting us we have been keeping the garage shut up... and the cats have become depressed. About a week ago we started opening it up again and I notice the stray sneaking in there. I saw the cat go into the garage today..and I ran outside and shut the door. So now..this cat is locked in our garage with one of our cats. We went in the garage to figure out how to capture this cat and he is WILD!
HOW DO we catch him...???

Last week when we were visiting my mom my 8 month old stuck my mom's cats paw in his mouth. Then this morning, about 1 week later the cat suddenly died. He came in from outside and looked like he had a seizure and died right then. The cat is young, about 1 & 1/2 and as far as everyone knows healthy. Should I be concerned for my baby?

My husbands cat needs a therapist. The cat howls the most when my husband has just left the house or when it is my husbands bedtime (according to the cat that is). But he also howls when he is lonely, when know one in the house is making noise, when the other cat isn't willing to play, when he is hungry, when he is bored and when he just plain wants to annoy me. Any suggestions on how to shut the cat up with out killing him would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for a home remedy or inexpensive way of keeping my guest bathroom smelling fresh. The cat's litter box is in this area as well. I use scoop away litter, tired of buying glad plugs b/c they don't last, I mop and use bleach but the smell lingers for a little while. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 8 month old male cat and I love him to death but it seems like he likes to attack for no reason sometimes. I was sitting at the dinner table not bothering him and he was just sitting on the floor watching me. All of a sudden he jumped up and bite my arm hard and ran away. I don't understand why he did that, especially since it wasn't a little nip....it was a bite!

Ashley is just acting weird, she usually wants to go outside, and she has kind of just been moping around, I think she is pregnant, my husband thinks she isn't, but her nipples are raised and they weren't like that a couple of weeks ago.

Matty is 18 yrs old and very loving, still purring and able to jump up on my lap {I am in a wheelchair} and she curls up in my crossed arms. She sleeps in my chair every night when I am in bed. She is down to 4-5 pounds, very matted long white hair, deaf, and gets very agitated if her food bowl is empty. She could eat 1-2 tins plus her dry food a day. The vet recently said her intestines are in a pouch fallen down between her hind legs. So when she eats she has very soft bowel movements practically right away and extremely smelly. She emits alot of very smelly gas quite frequently. She has woken me up at 5:30AM to be fed. She wails. For the last 3 months she insists on putting all 4 paws in the litter box but urinates outside of the box. Last week [just once] she pee'd and pooped on my rug in the bedroom. She is SO loving but I am finding her incredibly difficult to maintain. Deciding whether to put her down is causing me extreme guilt and pain! Should I keep cleaning or say enough?

I got two new kittens a week ago today, they are 7 weeks old. The female kitten is doing very well, she is 1 3/4 pounds and a happy healthy kitten. But my male kitten is not doing so well. He started off being the more timid one and he was a little smaller than her, also he was not as playful as his sister is, but he would play around with her. Now, he has become lethargic, sleeps all the time, stopped playing, and he stopped eating. The pet shop owner gave them their first shots and deworming medication, but my male recently threw up and there was a worm in his vomit. I took him to the vet this morning and he received a subcutaneous injection to help perk him up, a/d cat food, more deworming medication and a honey-like syrup that should strengthen his appetite. He weighs only 1 pound, is dehydrated, and emaciated. So far in the last 24 hours all he would ingest is replacement milk, but I'm concerned he might not eat willfully. Should I worry or will things work out?

We have 3 kittens, one is substantially smaller than the other 2. The little one is feeding quite a bit but it is not growing as fast as the other two kittens. Is there a solution to this problem because I am very concerned. I have already lost 2 kittens and I am not planning on losing another.Should I supplement the weak one or leave her to the mother. In case I need to use a milk substitute what should I use, we don't have PMK here just FYI. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I just had my first infestation of Fleas with my 4 indoor cats, and was told Frontline was the way to go. Plus all my friends at the shelter recommend it for cats. Now, ive never used a flea treatment before, and websites have proven to NOT answer my questions. So I ask here :) How toxic is it to cats. Mine are extremely uncomfertable lol, as would I be with some crap on my skin. Is it safe for them to itch that spot if they can reach it. And what about licking, will it make them sick?? So far my cats seem to be okay just HIGHLY bothered. Any information from current or previous users would be apppriciated! Thanks!

I never heard of it, but wanted to give my baby soemthing without so many fillers. At the pet store i read the ingerdiends on it, and sompared to many others that are supposed to be soooo good, like Science Diet, it had the least amount of corn & animal by products. So as not to make my guy sick or diareha, i mixed it w/the cheaper food until i totally switch over...and he seems to really like the Felidale he is picking out those niblets first! Anyone else have any good/bad experience with this food? And i would also like to know if this is a recalled one too??
