They may, it's best not to handle them unless absolutely necessary. If you are close to the Mom cat, then it shouldn't be a problem for you to hold one briefly. If you must handle them, rub your hands over Mum cat's fur first, give her a good pet to get her scent on you and only then pick up the kittens, talk to the Mom cat and let her know you're only looking, tell her she's doing a great job. You should only handle it for a minute then put it straight back. Stay in Mom's view the whole time and make sure to pat Mom again when you've put the kitten back. If Mom looks stressed about the kitten at any time, don't go any further, put the kitten back and don't touch it, try again in a couple of days.

My cats totally trust me. I've held every kitten since the minute it was born and their mother has never killed or abandoned them.

I don't recommend this if you and your cat are not totally connected. I feel that I have a special gift with animals.

People are shocked that I can pet certain animals or that they come right up to me when they have nothing to do with anyone else.

I've handled all puppies and kittens since the minute they were born and no mother has killed them or ignored them. My pets trust me completely. if your cat trusts you, it shouldn't be a problem.

Um she wouldnt kill them she would leave them out but maybe if you wana hold only do it once or somthing and not alote becuase theyl smell like you and not the cat, maybe hold it in a cat blanket(if ur cat uses it to sleep or sit on or w.e) or somthing like that, cos thats what i did when my cat had kittnes n i wanted to hold them becuase the blanket would have the cats smell on it or somthing like that (that how my mum descirbed it to me ages ago lol)

try not to handle them too much, but if it is your kitty, and she loves you, she will probably trust you and not freak out.

But, don't handle them right away if you don't have to. Wait a week or so.
