im pretty nice to my cat but she does'nt like me that much. help plz :)

try to be calm around it and not hyper, and try to be quite to they dont like loude noises (not that you have to be completely silent either) give her some space dont always try to pet them and stuff, and dont wake them up when there sleeping on purpose cos i dont think they like it cos i used to do that to my cat and definatly dont try and pick your cat up till it knows you and trusts you and maybe give it little food treats like.. ham i know they love that and they like chicken too and icecream and creasm but dont give them loads of it. feed her 3 times a day or somthing like that at a certain time everyday. my cats are kinda old but still really playfull and stuff but tcos we feed them at certain time of day there always back for that time becuase we let them go out in the garden and stuff. you should also try playing with her with like string and stuff but dont go draggings it around likemad just do it a bit untill she gets hyper, if she dosnt want to play to make her and you should try buying little toys with catnip in them cats love that.

after years of experience i have found that cats want to be in control--this means as hard as it is for you you have to let the cat call the shots as far as when it wants to be held, touched or picked up!! A little hand feeding of meat and cheese is also a good way to endear them to you!! a little respect for the cats space is a great way to earn their affections.

Make special time for your cat daily. Give her a few treats, brush her coat, play a few games (my cat loves it when I take an old fishing rod [hook removed of course] and tie on a toy mouse and cast off, then reel it back in. i call it kitty fishing).
Most cats will develop a special bond (especally with the treats lol)

Remember that cats are the only animals that chose to live with humans and not really domesticated... make sure you ke it obvious that you are feeding her and make it a ritual to give her attention while doing it... don't smother her. this will just scare her when she sees you next...
Also - have her spayed if she is not already. make sure you give her attention when you bring her home from the operation - that will let her know you are nuturing her when she needs it....
Give it time... she will become your friend in no time.

Food...treats and love.
We have had one of our cats Annie for years and she hates everyone. She growls or hisses if you pet her or pick her up. We have always been really nice to her, loving on her, giving her treats..but she just doesnt like people. RARELY if I go up to her really calmly and slow and talk sweet to her, she will let me pet her head for a few seconds before growling..lol.

When she wants to be pet, ignore her. Just like a human, she'll yearn for more, and when she begins to warm up to you, begin to pet her. She may just not like to be held. Depending on her age, it may take her awhile to warm up to humans. Let her get used to your scent and touch, don't pick him/her up, and let the cat come to YOU to be pet.

its usually best to try to get close to them while theyre young. you can feed it from your hands and reward the cat with treats everytime it acts nice to you.

feed it when its hungry, and dont be hyper around it. be relaxed and let it come to you. when your relaxed it will sense it and feel more comfertable around you. pet it softly when it lets you and gradually play with it more.
