I have had a 10mo kitten for the past 2mo. He keeps me up all night if I let him in my room. He wants to play. If I shut my bedroom door he scratches and cries the whole night. He has food and access to toys and his litterbox. He's already neutered. Any suggestions?

Cats are night animals, so they tend to sleep during the day and play at night. My suggestion would be to play really hard with him during the day, really poop him out. I play with a laser with my cats, and they're exhausted after wards. Then, before bed I would feed him. Cats are like babies and tend to sleep with a full belly.

Chicory - (patterns of imbalance) espressing love by being possessive demanding, and needy; getting attention through negative behavior.

This is a Bach flower essence which you can get at a health food store for around $18. You shake the bottle well and put three to four drops on the cat's fur between his ears four times a day if possible - especially in the morning and before bedtime. One bottle goes a long way - if you want to extend it some you can buy a brown treatment bottle (empty) for $1 and put ten drops in that and fill with filtered water. If you haven't used it all in three days make up a fresh bottle.

The trick with the flower essences is to use them INTENSELY. With each "treatment" the effect gets stronger. This should help your kitty adjust to a better emotional balance in about ten days.

Get one of those laser lights and have him chase it before you go to bed. Don't lock him out.....he loves you. Then put some earplugs in. He will probably be done with his meowing phase soon anyway. Good luck!

I Think your cat is in heat......you can put an ice bag on his private part, maybe that will help cool him down.
Or put a little pepper in his mouth....it wont hart him....that will let him focus on something else.
Best wishes and good luck
