My cat will stand on her hind legs and wave her paws around her ears.

For real, you might want to check for ear mites. Scratch below her ears and if she pushes into your hand real hard it could indicate ear mites. Also look into her ears and if you see what looks like "coffee grounds" that is mites. Otherwise ,cats just do goofy stuff sometimes, that's what makes them so much fun!

My cat usually does that if he is trying to catch flys or small bits of dust in the air.

Well she loves you..No you might take her to the vet she could have ear mites. But my bet is she is just wanting attention. Pretty Pussy

They're poking at something you don't have the power to see, but they can. They're VERY sensitive to spirits!

idk but both my cats do that too when their happy and if you pet her on the head alote, maybe its somthing to do with them being happy, not sure.
