I couldn't find any blood on her, but there was blood on the sheet (approx. 1-2 tbsp size spot) and sprayed on the wall abv the headboard of the bed. I live alone so there's no chance that somebody hurt her and she doesn't ever go outside? This is really puzzling. It has never happened before .

My cat has really dry skin. He is a black cat and when I pet him, he is just covered in dandruff. Are there any products out there I can buy to give him more moisturized skin and less dandruff?

Furniture is between real leather and leatherette. I remember years ago reading about a product like you paint on and kind of repairs the claw marks. Anyone know where this can be purchased in Ottawa.

I got a Siamese cat from a breeder who didn't want her in Jan. I had an appointment to get my cat spayed, but when I went to get her spayed the Veterinarian told me she was pregnant. Okay. I can handle that, I told myself...Yeah, right! So yesterday, she had two kittens. One was born deformed, and Precious (mother cat) chewed the deformed leg off, which really bothered me, and the kitten died shortly after. The other kitten was born healthy, about twice the size of the deformed kitten and the mother cleaned him/her all up. Yesterday the mother stayed with her kitten and let him nurse as much as he wanted to, and stayed with him. Today however, she ignores his cries. Since there is also only one kitten I'm scared he will get cold, so I put some warm waterbags underneath the blankets. Mother kitty is also not letting the kitten feed, she never stays longer than 10 minutes. Also, sometimes she sits on him, which makes him "scream" This bothers me and I am not sure if it is normal or not?

This past spring, I rescued a female cat that had been abandoned by her owners. Two weeks before she was scheduled to be spayed, she escaped, and of course got pregnant. I couldn't go through with having her spayed, knowing she was having kittens.
The kittens were born less than two weeks ago. All seven were born healthy. At first Dusty (the mother) was doing fine, and taking care of the kittens diligently. But today, she will have nothing to do with them, refuses to feed them, and has several times attempted to escape the house.
What should I do? Could the mother be in heat again? Should I begin to hand feed?
Thanks for any advice you can give

I have a 8 month old male cat and 3 others. He's the youngest and isnt fixed yet. i've been in the process of moving the past few weeks. He was the last cat at the house, we left him there because we had to separate him from the female, and we were hoping to find him a new home. But while i was doing moving one day i noticed everytime i walked out the door i'd hear this horrible screaching coming from him, at first i thought there was another animal in there because it almost sounded like two cats fighting. but it was worse then that and when i looked to see while i was outside i didnt see anything. We've brought him to the new house now. He's not adjusting well. He sometimes does this same terrible screaching at the other cats. I've had cats my whole life and never heard anything quite so terrible come from an animal, it sounds like hes being tortured! Expecting a baby in april, it kinda scares me now. i do plan on gettin him fixed in 2 wks. Any advice??

I need help with my orange tabby. He is distroying the house he is constaly scratching at the walls and doors. I have to sand and paint 5 doors and numerous moldings. How do i get him to stop scratching? I have tried that no scratch spray that you get at patsmart. But obviously it did not work.Everyone is getting angry and if i dont figure out something to do ill have to get rid of him. I dont want to do that. Also summer is coming so i was wondering i could shave him to like a regular cats hair length(he has wild long orange hair.)I was wondering if that would be mean or not. Not sure if i would tempt it or not though. Anyways if anyone could help on the scratching subject that would be awsome-Thanks

First we got a female kitten, she is about 11 mo. now, then a couple months ago we found a male cat, not sure about age, maybe 2-3years old. Somehow they got along(well, at least they tolerate each other). Last week my daughter brought a male cat about 8 mo. old and our ordeal began. First, the new cat met the female one - she freaked out, hisses and even growl, also she became more aggressive. Then a younger male met an older one. For the first several minutes they were 'fine', but then they start to scream at each other and then fight. What worse, the younger male started to spray on random objects in our house(I guess to mark territory or so). Any ideas how we can get them along? We can't sterilize them all now(it's a financial matter). Who do we get fix and who's not to get things better? Any answer will be highly appreciated.
