i think you should wait until your cat comes into its "personality" bubu is a cute name as like "pet name" but as your cat gets older over the next months she will start to come into her own and then a name should be given for her..i have had my kittens for like 8 months now and they are 10 months and it took at least 3-4 tries before i settle with their names now...cause it totally fits them..one of them is shadow cause he follows me around every where..two seconds later if look down where ever i walk he is there look back at me..and the other is tiger cause he loves to prowl around, stalking everything, claiming his area..he also has been called at times mr clean cause he loves to groom me..shadow is also know as casanova cause he loves to snuggle and gaze at me with those big bright eyes..good luck and take your time with names...

That's a start. Most cats eventually have more than one name as time goes along. For example, we have Spooky a little grey and white angora who right now is curled up in a chair in the computer room. That name was shortly modified to Spook, Pook, Pookie, Pookaset, Sahpook, Kapookie and Da Pook. As luck would have it, she responds regardless...a somewhat rare trait in cats. Whatever fits, go for it!

Sure, you can name your pet whatever you like b/c it's your pet! lol But My personal opinion, I think Bubu is a great name! It's simple and easy to remember. I named my Pitt bull puppy BIG b/c he's.....BIG! Besides it's simple and easy for everyone to remember!
