I LOVE cats!! and my kids!!! Yes, when you don't have kids - your animals ARE your kids. I suggest if possible you get a 'kitty sitter' once in awhile so you can go and meditate and be alone or with some humans just to get out for awhile. It's normal and nothing bad!! They will grow out of it eventually, however it may be awhile. Mine has come a long way, but he is 1.5 years old and still a little feisty but nowhere NEAR like he use to be as yours are. You'll get through it, 'mom' I promise!

I have two male cats, both from the same litter, now 3 years old. Around 7-8 months of age, they started fighting with each other on a regular basis. Cats are very territorial animals, especially intact (un-neutered) males.

Get them neutered as soon as possible, if you haven't already. Neutering a cat is good for it's health. It cuts the risk of prostate cancer and other illnesses. Most vets will give you a discount if you have them done at the same time.

Once they've been fixed, they should calm down quite a bit. They will get along much better, because they won't feel the need to fight for territory. And they should stop meowing all the time, as meowing is usually because they want to prowl for females. Neutering them will stop this behaviour.

Are they neutered? If not then go get that done!! They will calm down and stop the meowing! I am the ssaaammmee way i have a 7 month old male kitty that would get into everything i about lost it... but I just got him neutered and he isnt running around the house like a retard anymore =) So if that is the case then get them neutered! You'll be happy you did.... if they are neutered they will grow out of being crazy kitties within the next year... having 2 male cats they seem to try to be the dominant one. Good luck!!!

I'm the same way with my little guys. I have a 6 month old and a 3 month old. I just go into my bedroom and shut the door on them. It gives them time to play together and gives me the quiet time that I need. When you start getting worked up go into a room by yourself and calm down. Once you calm down play with them.

Kittens act like this... it is like having kids. All young animals are playful. They will grow out of it, my cat was a crazy thing (I loved it) but now he is 2 and all he wants to do is eat sleep and sit on your lap and get brushed. If you do not like the craziness then you should have gotten an older cat.

Ignore them. Sometimes when mine get too rambunctious, I close them out of the room. They are usually VERY well mannered when I let them back in some hours later.

It will pass, when the boys grow up.

Usually, I annoy them back,. Works with people, I don't know about cats.
But since beings tend to only want what they can't have, try playing with them for an hour straight befre getting on this here YA

LMAO @ Alpha66...........

anyway all i can say is be patient like babies they require a lot of attention.....i dealt with 7 kittens and i loved every minute of it even though they are very curious animals and tend to get themselves in a lot of trouble.....
lol...thats the advantage of having cats they eliminate your bug problem.....PATIENCE

GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Put them in a room and shut the door for a hour.Or put yourself in the room and shut the door.Im not sure why you feel like this about your cats. You might need to find them a new home.
