A spray bottle filled with water works...that way your cat will associate the punishment with the action, and not with you. But honestly, you might just have to move them to somewhere your cat cant reach them...that's what my dad had to do.

Haha, you really can't. I tried many a time to move this little tree that I had around so that cats wouldn't get it, but i came home and it didn't have leaves and my and my cat was munching on the top of it hahaha, just make sure the plants you keep inside aren't poisonous, and if you want to, you could put them away in a cabinet or something for when you're not home. Also, I keep a lavendar plant inside, and the cats aren't interested in it in the least, maybe you can just figure out what the cats don't care about and keep those kind of plants inside.
Another thing I have done and found to keep the cats from feeling the need to eat greens is given them lettuce or spinach once a day. That way they get their fix and well be less tempted to eat the plant. If you go and buy some fresh spinach and give a leaf to your cat now and then, the cats will have gotten the nutrients they are craving.

Unfortunately, I never got my cat to leave my plants alone. All I have left is a bamboo, and a larger plant that I had to put in my apartment hallway. I tried everything from bitter apple, to putting something over the dirt so that they wouldn't dig. Sometimes plants and indoor cats just aren't meant to be

What works for me is I just got some Cat Grass and grew that. Then just set that next to your plants and my cat eats the Cat Grass now and not my plants. Also I would spray them with a water bottle if they are doing it while you are at home.

I got this spray in thet pet store, it was bitter apple, it was supposed to be natural. It was more for my dog, I used it on anything I didn't want him to bit on. I don't know if it's safe for plants, but obivously it's not toxic. It's just called Rannicks Bitter apple. I'm sure they may have something for cats, or you can try using that one. You can also spray her/him with a little water in the face everytime you catch her so she knows she can't do that. My cat listens pretty well so all I have to do is tell her no, and she doesn't.

Just make sure you do, because most indoor plants are poisonous to cats. You could use some clove oil on their leaves and/or on th epots, cats hate clove oil.

Get Simple Solution indoor/outdoor repellent for cats & dogs. It is a red & white spray can and works great!
We have Peace Lillies in our house, and my cats were chewing on them. I got this spray, sprayed it one time on all my plants, and my cats haven't touched them since!
