I'm going to Miami for 4 nights in about a month, this will be my 1st trip out of town since i got my guy. (had him about 6 months now, he's about 9 months) i have someone coming to feed him daily, but i'm wondering if he's gonna be really mad at me or not. i want to hear some experiences from other cat owners.

I have 2 cats. They are sisters and about a year old. If we accidently leave the bathroom door open then one of them will poo in the sink. Sometimes they just wee. The cat litter tray is very clean and they also get let outside a lot. Why are they doing this? Are they copying us going to the toilet? Why are they not bothered about covering it over like they do in the litter tray? I have had cats all my life and have never encountered this before. Any ideas?

My cat loves black olives. I dropped one a time ago and she got ahold of it. She eats them and then goes crazy. She will attack peoples feet and whip her tail like she is nuts. She runs over to me now every time I open a can, what is in them that makes her so crazy. It is almost like cat nip for her.

and how long after that do they start spraying? I have to book his neutering one month ahead, but not until they've dropped, so I'm a bit worried.
Thanks!

I got this stray cat when he was a kitten a little over a year and has been indoors the whole time. He never liked humans so i can not even pet him but he loves my other cat and seems normal besides that. I have never taken him to the vet to get his shots. The other day he bit me and now i am wondering if he has rabies. from what i looked up online he does not have any signs and i would think that having him for over a year I would have seen signs or for that matter for the rabies to have already taken its cource ??

I recently adopted a feral cat who is a HUGE scaredy cat. And I am a first-time cat owner with no experience handling cats. The thought of getting him into the carrier stresses both of us out. I was able to get him into his carrier twice, but now he knows what it is and won't have anything to do with it. I've tried luring him into the carrier with treats, toys, and canned tuna, all to no avail. People have recommended that I wrap a towel around him, but I can't even do that ~ he is so fast, he escapes and runs off. He's like a slippery bar of soap! I had to cancel my vet appointment, but I have to take him for his shots and deworming. Can anybody please suggest ideas to get him into the carrier that is not traumatizing or forceful?

My cat is about 2 weeks away from having kittens and seems very restless. Of course, I'm going to ask the vet about labor and nesting signs, but I've never had a pet have babies before, so I'm wondering about people's personal experiences. Do cats nest? Can I help her by setting up a box with some blankets in it? Do they want a quiet place or does it matter? Any advice you can share would be great!

He recently started doing this and his sister, another black domestic longhair, doesn't even flinch when she passes this wall. It is the only place in the apartment where he does it. I've gone over and checked out the wall, there is nothing there. It is white plaster with no visible marks of any kind. I've turned the hall light on, yet he still seems to find something to meow at in the same exact spot. It's sad to hear him meow and see him jump up at nothing, but when I got to approach him while he is there, he just runs off. I've picked him up and brought him back to the spot, but he doesn't seem to see anything when I am with him. I am utterly confused! He doesn't do this constantly or on a regular basis, but he does it more often than not, and I have no clue why. Any ideas? Any?

Why is it that when you somtimes find answers on the cat section people 'hate' cats? If so why do they come on this particular forum? I know different people have different opinions but I would like to hear their reasons as I like to see things from other peoples points of view. I love my cats very much, what about you?
