We rescued our cat, Cotton, from a cold and heatless enviroment. This March, it'll be a year since he has arrived. I want to get him some stuff and I want some help. I'm getting him toys, treats, food....and? I don't know what else to get him. I HAVE TO GET HIM SOMETHING ELSE! So...for you cat lovers, what should I get my cat and you MUST know if he will enjoy it.

My son finally found out what was going on with the cat. His roommate bought some cheap dollar store cat food that had tons of red dye in it. It upset her stomach and she was vomiting it. Plus she was actually urinating red. He threw out the food and bought her the good stuff, which Gizmo proceeded to gobble down. She hasnt been sick yet and the red dye is no longer in her urine. She is now just as frisky as ever and apparently feels great. She just shredded my son's new sheers in his bedroom from climbing on them.
Thanks all for the advise and well wishers.

I've had my cat for nearly ten years now, and ever since I can remember she throws up. It's only if we feed her too much food(10 peices or more is too much). I feel bad though if I feed her and she's still hungry, but I know if I feed her anymore she'd throw it up. When she does through up it still looks like the food, like it wasn't digested all the way or something. We've taken her to the vet and they've given us medicine to give to her, but nothing seems to help. Does anybody else have this problem with their cat? If so, what did you do about it, if anything? I would really like some help here, I love my cat too much to see her hurt like this. And my parents are getting to where they can't take it anymore. My dad even mentioned giving her up to the pound, and I would be crushed if I had to do that. Please help!

I have an albino Maine Coon, and since he was a kitten, any time you get your hands around his face or try to play with him, he will end up biting you! It's almost a "love" bite, but sometimes he gets a little too aggressive, I have tried various techniques to try to stop him without any luck. Any suggestions?

Me and my boyfriend have got a kitten. She is now 13 weeks. She seems to be extremly affectionate, not that we are complaining. When me or my boyfriend go into the bathroom she sits outside waiting and if you shut the door she starts meowing. When we are asleep she seems to get excited and comes and sleeps near our head. My boyfriend woke up to her sleeping under the covers between his legs and last night she was sleeping with her head on my shoulder. A couple of times i have woken up to her mimiking drinking her mothers milk doing the purring, licking and needing thing on my top leaving it damp. She always purrs when we are asleep too. When we look at her or speak to her she comes bouncing (she actually bounces) over to us purrs and then rubs her face on ours. Everytime we feed her, without failure she comes up to us purrs and it seems like she is saying "thank you" Just wondering if this is normal behaviour and whether anyone else has had this with their kitten?! Many thanks.

I got a kitten last night that has a missing left eye (it got scratched or something and infected) It looks like the other eye is getting infected. I took it to the vet today and he gave me some anitbiotics, and some kind of solution to put in his other remaining eye. The vet said his remaining eye wasnt open enough for him to tell if anything was detatched (which is why I have the solution) I guess it's to clear the matted eye up so he can look at it. Im to take him back on Saturday and see what the vet has to say.

He is around 4 maybe 5 weeks old.
Anyway, my question is.... You feed the kitten every what...3-4 hours? Whats the best kind of milk to use (pet milk, not human) I should have asked the vet for some, but the kitten can eat solid cat food if it's been soaked and is drinking water.

Hi

I have a cat which is not a home pet. She is living outside; I give her food and provide her a nest.
She is not healthy form yesterday. She was sleeping more than usual and she was not Thirsty enough to food (she eats today).
Today she is still sleepy, but new signs of illness have been appeared. His breathing is sometimes noisy; she gulps her spittle; she coughs sometimes.
She opens her eyes like a sleepy cat; her eyes are not usual.
She is 11 months old. Maybe she has a cold?

Help me please, I feel a moral duty.
I am Anxious

Please….

said that there is nothing wrong with him. I noticed that he likes to chew on stuff on the floor and strings fromm around the carpet and anything dangly. Could he have some sort of blockage. He also has a hard time deficating. He drinks alot of water. What could be the problem? He eats dry food recommended by the vet. Is there a laxative for cats?
