We re planning on adopting a cat, but he's already got the name joseph. it just doesn't fit him so I am wondering if any of ya'll have any good or creative names for cats. We are college aged girls so we like weird.

I think Simba or Leo are good names. Another one i like is Tigger.
It depends on the personality of the cat. We have a cat named Sebastian (after the crab in the little mermaid movie) because he acts kinda stuck up.

When i adopted my kitty, his name was Dannon. Who the hell names a perfectly good kitten after a yogurt?
We changed his name to Ernesto sin Nalgas. He goes by Nesto, Ernie, Ernesto, Mr. Pants, and Little Sh*t. He is an orange tabby with a very loud mouth.
My kitty before him was Murky, extended to Murkenthal when he was being adorable. He was a Russian Blue.
I have also had Allowishus Devadander Abercrombie (thats long for Mud, so we've been told) and Calabaza the big fat fatty calico.

Xander. Find a TV or movie character that has a personality similar to your cat and go with it. When I adopted my cat, his name was Bacardi, which I didn't like and it didn't suit him to be named after rum. He's a happy go lucky cat that is sort-of lazy, so I named him after the Buffy character. :-)

I would just keep the name Joseph. If it is a full grown cat he is probably used to it and might be confused with another name.

You could pick a name from a book or movie you like. :) My brother named his cat Gryffindor (from Harry Potter). Or a favorite food? Our cats are Mocha and Java because we have a coffee obsession. ;) Make it something personal. Something you have a story for when people ask you, 'and why did you name your cat that??'
