It's probably the food. Make sure to use a good brand like Nutro. Also do not change the food flavors and brands you feed them. Just feed them the same thing all the time. You may need to experiment to find a food that works. One of my cat's has a sensitive stomach and the only food he does not throw up on is Iams hard food not the soft. Also make sure there are no plants around that they are eating that may make them throw up or something else they may be getting into.

Make sure you choose one brand of food and stick with it. Also if you leave food down all day, it is possible they are eating to much, this will make them throw up. Try giving each cat 1/2 cup of food twice a day, no more. Do not give them table scraps of any kind, as this too can cause upset stomach. If they are still getting sick everyday, take them to a vet, there is some underlying cause they can possibly figure out, seems strange it is both of them. Good Luck!

Since it is both of them, it sounds like hairballs. Does the "vomit" look similar to a piece of feces but made mostly of hair? That is a hairball. Not in the shape of a ball at all - whatever. Anyway - if you aren't sure - take the cats to the vet to make sure there isn't something else going on. There are medications, diet foods and even treats to give cats to help eliminate hairballs. Your vet can recommend something or you can find some at the local pet store.

If it's happening every day, you should give your vet a call. It might be something as simple as their food, maybe they're eating too quickly, or it could be a serious issue. If it is both cats, the likelihood is that it is not something serious, but your vet could help you figure it out.
If it's not every day, I asked my vet why my cat throws up sometimes, and she laughed and said that sometimes she swears they do it just because they can. :)
Good luck figuring this out...

could be nothing more than hair balls. I know it's not the nicest thing, but take a look at what is in their barf and see if it is food or fur. If it's fur, comb them and get something like petromalt that should clear out their systems. If it's food then there may be something wrong with their systems and you should take them to the vet. It may be the food you are feeding them, too much dry food maybe. But, alway best to consult a vet when in doubt.

if you are feeding the cat the same kind of cat food everyday then it could be that. My 3 cats love the ocean white fish flavored cat food but they always get sick when they eat that kind.

you should get them some wormer meds right away, i had 2 cats that were throwing up every day and we didn't figure out that it was worms until it was too late for the one, she died the next day after we found out it was worms, the other one is still alive and happy, one thing you need to watch for if it's worms is that your cats would be thin and maybe have swollen bellies.
they need to be on regular wormer too.

Im sure there fine. My cats do to, I hear them in the middle of the night then in the morning I have to go hunt for it! Mine eats hair out of the tub, and chews on things like a puppy, but they have to get the hair balls out somehow!!
