The cleaning solution doesn't sound too good. Ask your vet or the www.aspca.com poisoning hotline. (888) 426-4435

If the water is safe for the fish, it is safe for the cat. My cat used to do that, I used to say he was trying to drink up all the water to get to the fish, of course he could never do it. The fish didn't seem to mind too much either, it was a beta and it lived for about 6 years, through the cat drinking him up and all.

Im not sure about the cleaning solution best call your vet for that but cats drink water from alot of places but the tap! Its because they can smell the chemicals in tap water which we cant.

my cat drank out of the pool a few times and she's okay. I don't think that the water has a high enough concentration of solution in it to make him sick esp. since the fish have to live in it and they're not poisoned so i don't think you have to worry so much but you can always ring the vet to be sure but i really think he's not harmed :)

Nope, mine do it as properly, not something incorrect with it. i'd dodge it however because of the fact the cat's saliva won't be good for the fish, and calls so you might scrub out the water interior the bowl extra oftentimes.

If your cat has a disease, allergy etc., you might want to ask the vet. If the fish has a disease, it's not safe for the cat. My cat and dog drink out of our salt water pool and it's healthy for them.

Its a not a good thing that he's drinking the fish water. All of the stuff that is in there is not good for him, and can cause him to vomit, have diharrea, etc.

dont let him do that, put the bowl up high , that can kill the cat if there is cleaning stuff in there, fish cleaning stuff has cancer causing chemicals in it, please put your bowl up high otherwise your cat could be in huge trouble, take him/her to the vet for a check up

There are many bacteria in the aquarium that may not necessarily be beneficial to the cat I would dissuade it from drinking aquarium water.
