and how long after that do they start spraying? I have to book his neutering one month ahead, but not until they've dropped, so I'm a bit worried.
Thanks!

5-6 months is when they can be fixed. I had my male fixed at 9 months and he never even started spraying.

Our kittens dropped at 4 and a half months and we got him neutered immediately because he was getting aggressive. Everyone at the vets was shocked so I guess that's early. After five months is normal so you could probably schedule it for sometime between five and six months. I've never heard of having to book neutering so far in advance??? Is there anywhere else you could go?

I would discuss this with your veterinarian.
