Not usually, but it depends on the individual cat too

I took in a cat that was pregnant and my male (who is neutered) was very loving toward her. When the kittens were born he took care of them just like the mom (with the exception of nursing of course). My husband and I were afraid at first to have him near the kittens but he would clean them and liked to help the mom cat keep them together. I could not believe it. He was just so good with them. I really guess it depends on the male cat and maybe if he is neutered or not.

Some will and some won't.
The chances are greater for an unneutered male to be aggressive towards a pregnant female.

BUT, any Male cat can and will kill kittens the female will also fight to her death to protect her kittens.

It's not just male cats though, SOME females can be very nasty when it comes to pregnant females and kittens also.

It depends on the cat, But some male cats will kill the kittens to put the female back in heat

Not sure about that but my vet said to keep the males away or they are likely to kill the kittens in order to mate again.

They can be, if they're not fixed. So if you male cat isn't neutered, get that done asap.
