She went into heat about a month ago, and since, she's been sleeping alot, and gets very angry if you touch her belly. But I am asking if she could be pregnant, because she is still as skinny now, and she was a month ago, so whats happening?

My 20 lb. cat has been on a diet consisting of 3/4 cup of Science diet r/d (vet prescribed reducing diet food) for a little over 2 months. I'm feeding her the amount that a 10-15 lb cat should eat, and she has not lost a single pound yet.

How long does it take for a cat to loose weight? I got her from the shelter 2 years ago, and she was just as big as she is now, maybe there is something else going on?

Okay.. Stupid question! But i need to know, I'm only 13 and I have an adult female cat that eats every lil animal that comes into our yard (birds, mouse, bugs etc) My sister's dog just had puppies (pugs) and i want to take one in, he's 8 weeks old and i'm scared that my cat will eat him. Is it possible?

My cat hides and sleeps all day ,comes out around 6-7 at night goes outside, comes in,goes back out and eventually back in for most of the night. Around 3 am she jumps on my bed or
scratches at the door .( I have locked her out) She meows for some attention or to go outside. When I open the door, she looks out and decides it's too cold and wanders back in. This goes on from 3-7 and then she disappears for her daytime sleep. I lose sleep over this. Are there ways to deter this or is this a cat's winter time habits?

Do cats' temperaments change based on their breed like it does with dogs? Is there a breed of cat that's more friendly than another?

I have two 3 month old kittens, a girl and a boy. The boy is very friendly, and the girl is a little fussier and slow to adjust. They both play together and love each other. Would it be ok to get another kitten? is it true that if you have 3 cats, the third one is usually left out or picked on? If i get another cat or kitten, will my kittens be mean to the new one? What are the chances that they will all get along peacefully?

My cat, whose a boy by the way, 1yr and a Half. Well, he always suck my blanket. Like if he's sucking a nipple. And he stretches his arms. I'm getting really worried about this. he has been this for quite some time, and we have no idea how to explain this, neither does the vet. So I am asking for help. This seriously does not seem normal...

The vet suspected toxins. He was force fed and given IV fluids, antibiotics, and an appetite stimulant while there, until he started eating on his own. Now that we have him home however he has not eaten or drank in 8 hours, and appears obviously constipated. He is still somewhat lethargic, although better than before. I am really worried. He was my mother's cat, and she passed away 8 months ago of cancer, and now my grandfather also has cancer. My grandparents are caring for the cat. We payed the initial vet bill, but I am unsure that we will be able to afford much more, as it has been a financially devastaing year. Not sure what to do, any advice would be appreciated

What works best, spraying your cat in the face with a mist of water, dumping water on her, or something completely different? Thanks!!!

Every morning at 7am my cat (13weeks old) will wake me up by meowing in my face putting her cold wet noes on my noes or most of the time by putting her front paw up to my mouth so i can feel her little foot pads. I kind of get annoyed because her paws are like any cat probably full of bacteria and i will get up and feed her or hold her or clean her box and go back to bed and she will just continue to do it. what does she want!

My cat was let out of the house by my mother or my sister about 4 days ago. He just returned this morning and was very greasy. It was raining the other day, so I think he was hiding out under a car. I gave him a bath this morning with baby shampoo (we didn't have any cat shampoo) but he is still a little greasy. My mother suggested bathing him in Dawn dishsoap, but I would like to avoid giving him another bath, since the bath I gave him already was a very traumatic experience for the both of us. (I've bathed several cats before and have never had a cat behave the way he did.) So, my question is, is there any other way to de-grease my cat? Or will the grease go away on its own?
