try to find him a home. in the meantime catch him and have him vaccinated against diseases continue to feed him, love him and give him a home with you if you can. i have been feeding a ferrel cat for three years. he is so wild that he will not let me get near him but he shows up on my back porch twice a day to be fed. a fact i found on the internet is that housecats have a life expectancy of an average of 14 years....a ferrel cats life expectancy is 2 years. how sad that in a country like ours we have so many neglected animals.

The cat thinks you have more food. You could try taking care of it until you find the real owners. Try putting up fliers all over the neighborhood..................or maybe if you can't find the cats real home you may be able to find a new home for it or just keep the cat yourself if you like cats.

If you don't want to take him in, you can keep him and call animal control. The should come get him. The only bad thing about this is, if no one will take him he will probably be put down. See if any of your friends need a barn cat, if so, a stray cat is great for this.

If you like cats I would say he now belongs to you. I had the same problem and then it had kittens. Not good. I called the local animal control officer and he picked them up and took them to a no kill kennel. I sent a good donation to help feed them while a home was found for them. You do not have to give money if you don't want to but I felt it would help. Hope my experience helps you.

Keep him if you can. If not get ahold of a place that does not put them to sleep to come and get him. It is in humane and not healthy for a cat to have to hunt for his food. Feline lukemia aids, weather, cold . The poor kitty did not ask to be brought into the world help him out. Cats make great pets

when you give a homeless cat some food especially near your house it's gonna think that you want it, he won't go, NEVER !!
if you can keep him it's ok but if you don't, leave him far away from your house because he got use to the smell there, take him very far another neighbourhood or city. POOR LITTLE CAT (i used to have 13 cats who came to me the same way yours did, i could'nt let them go, they were so cuuuuuute !!) anyway, good luck.

My friend Joe has the same problem dude. He found a cat and fed it and gave it drinks, and even named it Stashu.

Just ask around the neighborhood or look in the newspaper. Or you can just keep it if that's okay with your mom and dad.
