The vet suspected toxins. He was force fed and given IV fluids, antibiotics, and an appetite stimulant while there, until he started eating on his own. Now that we have him home however he has not eaten or drank in 8 hours, and appears obviously constipated. He is still somewhat lethargic, although better than before. I am really worried. He was my mother's cat, and she passed away 8 months ago of cancer, and now my grandfather also has cancer. My grandparents are caring for the cat. We payed the initial vet bill, but I am unsure that we will be able to afford much more, as it has been a financially devastaing year. Not sure what to do, any advice would be appreciated

Contact the vet that you got him back from. Let them know that he is not feeling much better. Ask them for suggestions. It may be as simple as getting him unconstipated, which does not cost very much.
