Does your cat see you eating in the kitchen? If so, the cat may be going with you to be with you when you eat. Cats often eat when we sit down to eat. They are very social animals, both in the wild and in the house. Cat often come to know that when you go to the kitchen there's a meal coming, even if they're not going to eat it.

maximum kitchens have tile flooring... this suggests a funky place to place. additionally, your kitchen has a refrigerator (place for nutrients), a range (place the place nutrients is waiting). Your kitchen additionally has a trash can that likely has waste nutrients thrown into it.. In a nut shell, this is the suitable place for a cat to lurk... ;))) think of roughly it and you will quickly see your cat's POV. have confidence me. wish this facilitates,

To a cat, kitchen = food. No matter how much they have, they always want a treat, and mine inevitably think they're going to get one, no matter what I've gone in to do. Short of a treat, I think they're also just plain curious!

Yes they do that. And even if you're not headed that way, they run in front of you and try to guide you into the kitchen with their tails. I mean what are we? Sheep or something that can be herded? But that's what my cats try to do. And if I don't follow them, they try to kill me by tripping me.
